Hi guys, i have a question about my recent problem with my neighbor. This wasn't the first time he parked near my drive way, sidewalk curb. So since yesterday he parked his damn truck almost half on my sidewalk curb side, so i couldn't pull back straight nor if i come back then i've to do some hassle to drive through my own space because the truck blocking half of my way.

So today when he moved the car to the cross the street, i put the trash bins & recycle bins which i thought he got it about what i want him to do, but of course not, he even back parked his truck next to trash bins ( so few inches away from the sidewalk to the middle of the street )

Now, i am not sure where to make a report if he's doing it again and again. This guy has more than 2 vehicles and he is a type of person who don't give a to neighbor. He has a cover trailer that has not been move for almost a year and park in front of his sidewalk area, and there's 2 big vans, 1 truck, 1 gf's car.

So he parking his vehicles everywhere near his house in the neighborhood without thinking of other people. Last time he parked one of his van in the corner of my house and didn't move it for almost a week and we had to call the city.

It seems like i have to do the hassle to pull back my own car from my own parking space, and do the difficult turns to park my car.

Some friend of mine told me to call 311 and he could get a ticket. but i just wanna make sure first if that's the right thing to do? or should i just parking my car since now next to my sidewalk as a statement that i don't like him to park in my area.

As you can see on the attachment, my car parking next to fence between our houses and his truck almost half way blocking my way, because he passed his fence line through my area.

Thank you, any suggestion would be much appreciate. Happy Fourth of July!

Also just because you have gravel there, doesn't mean that's actually a legal parking spot for YOU. So before you call on him, double check you're allowed to park there. I once lived in a place where just because my entire back yard was dirt (we hadn't put grass down yet) didn't mean I could park on anything but my legal parking pad, which happened to be gravel. I wouldn't be allowed to park on my front lawn etc... There are bylaws in place so check the laws in your city, county, and neighborhood.

NLR, those gravel are inside of MY property, next to my garage door. if that's not inside of my property then what's the problem here that i asked for? I understand the law & i won't be a jerk by calling 311 if that's on his driveway because what we are talking here about Outside near my sidewalk curb. Plus neighbors here all have gravel and they have more than 1 vehicles, and they're just fine parking like i do. Cops sometimes crusing around and none of us ever have problem because we are not parking illegally

Do you understand that just because its your property doesnt mean you can park anywhere you want to? Im not saying you are parking wrong either. I merely said to check out your cities bylaws so that you know you're in the right and theyre in the wrong. Wouldnt want to get yourself a ticket by accident.

Cruising police officers arent looking for bylaw tickets; they have bigger fish to fry. ;)
