DS160 question related to passports

Oh joy - another question. I might be thinking too much about this, but essentially I am a Belgian citizen living in the UK. I got my passport renewed last year, at the embassy in London. So on the DS160 would this be correct?

Country/Authority that Issued Passport/Travel Document:
BELGIUM
City where issued:
LONDON
Country/Region where issued:
UNITED KINGDOM

Or should "country where issued" be Belgium, because technically it was issued in Belgium and then sent over to the embassy...... honestly this whole thing is really not friendly to those of us who hold one citizenship but live abroad. There has been some terribly vague language on this form...

Correct you would put Belgium.

I also had to renew my passport (Australian) whilst living in London and I put Australia as the issuing country on the DS 160 with out incident.

No it says country OF issue Belgium, and place where issued London. But not Country where issued - although following that logic, if place where issued is London, country where issued would be UK

The country of issue is the place you hold citizenship too. London was simply the place the passport was issued at.
