Hi everyone?.... I've been reading about Affidavit of bona-fide marriage and I really hope I can get a way with not sending any. The problem is here in The Dominican Republic anything you do that involves immagration has to be under the radar because there are people here that will actually call and cause problems for anyone in the immigration process not saying that everyone in DR are like that but you do hear storys?.. thanks for your comments and your time ?

Such affidavits are not required and carry little to zero weight in the overall evaluation of a file if they are submitted.

You need to make sure that you can prove that what you are stating is fact can be backed-up. So, if you say that you have made "8" trips. Then you send copies of the "8" stamps in your passport. If you say that you spend time together. Then you should send in pics of you spending time together. Not only spending time together with each other, but with family and friend, as well. You should submit everything that shows that you have a life together. I understand the concern of others trying to mess things up. Be mindful of whom you share your information with on a "need to know" bases and you will be in better shape than screaming it on the top of all the roof tops.

Hello,

Like all have mentioned, just focus on what you can prove. Remember, if you can prove it then there is no reason to worry. Buena Suerte....
