Did you schedule your medical in December? He was eventually able to get through, they just told him they don't make appointments that far out.

I know you guys are waiting to have your interview in Jan, but why not just scheduled your medical now anyways?

The K-1 Visa expires 6 months from the medical date. We are hoping to have an entry date of March 1st so if we were to schedule it now that would be cutting it close so we are trying to push it out a bit. Also so that it is closer to the interview date. We are hoping we can schedule it for December 13 since that would be the best day for him to get off work.

Just find it odd that they won't even schedule an appt that is less than 2 months out...sooooo odd to me.

Fiance had her medical exam in Kobe yesterday, doctor didn't ask any questions about us or the visa just kept it business related. Took a bit longer than we expected, about 2 hours, but according to her it was super easy.

Ended up costing $548 so Japan is pretty expensive when it comes to the medical exams but at least its over.

Habibi had his medical yesterday. Seven hours of running around Casablanca to get all of the exams done! Very crazy. But it was exactly what the receptionist had told us, $240 US (roughly). He got the all clear by phone today. Now it's just a waiting game. 17 days until the interview..... that seems like forever when we're so close.

As you know, Robert was told he'd hear from Knightsbridge within 5 days if there was anything of concern from his blood work and other tests. I was talking to him on my way to work this morning, as always, and said "if you don't hear from them today, I'm sure all is fine." 30 minutes later he got a call from London, at which point he put me on hold for what seemed like a century (5 minutes). I cannot express the utter fear while waiting to hear what the results were as they shouldn't be calling unless something was wrong.

He came back to the skype call laughing. Apparently they sent him away with the wrong information... they had given him a sticker with the wrong vaccination information on it, and they'll be sending him one with the correct information instead. That is all.

He asked the nurse (or doctor, not sure which it was) if the results of his tests were ok, and she said that the blood work wasn't finished yet, but she didn't see anything of concern and most likely we wouldn't be hearing from them again.

We were both so relieved.

Seriously... I may not have hair after this is all over.

Interview, here we come! :D !!
