hahah! Your fiance is much more recognizable. The only thing that stands out about Alex is he is TALL. like 6'2" or something. also he literally always wears earbuds.

I wish i could be at the interview with him too... but unfortunately my coworker is on maternity leave, so my boss just really couldn't approve PTO. But I'll be there in spirit, and you can be my proxy ;)

does your fiance already have all his AoS vaccines? is he going to get them at the medical? I'm wondering if it's worth it, i have good insurance so it should just be covered by that if he wants to get them here...

He has his Vaccine records, and it looks like he has everything covered, but he'll find out at the medical just in case we missed something. Most likely, unless it's something the require for the actual K1 entry into the US, we'll just have them done here on my insurance, too.

OK, I'll look for a tall guy with earbuds, haha! And yes! I'll be your proxy and give your fiance the thumbs up!

So much for NHS being better than US healthcare, ahaha. it's such a pain to deal with. he was fretting that he'd have to go back to his GP to get his records, and that the old people who hang out there would stare him down, LOL. luckily he found them :)

if he sees you guys i'll make him take a selfie and send it to me. i'll probably not be able to sleep anyways waiting for him to get interviewed!! ; o;

Hey guys update : our Rfe letter came today and as I guessed, my fiance missed some boxes that he didn't check. Specially those were they're asking if he ever been convicted to a crime and stuff.

So he had a conviction for underage drinking in 1997. And a DUI 2003 and 2013. All were cleared. The question is does he need to mark that, and if he does, what type ofor document he does need to prove that he was cleared? He was never in jail he had tickets to pay or something like that. Thanks for your advices;)

I would mark those on the form, even if they have been cleared by now he had been convicted in the past. If he has it available I would submit the evidence of the clearances as well.

Still no case at NVC.... got a ridiculously rude lady today!!! The rudest one yet!!! I am always polite! She couldn't hear me apparently and asked for Beneficiary name so I was excited for a second but she told me the name I gave didn't match... then she asked me for the number again and said they still haven't received it....

Getting so fed up with the NVC at this point... losing all patience.... :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

I'm so distressed for you!!! It's been almost a week since i got my case number, and we were approved the same time! Argh. Are you dialing option 3 on the phone tree? I don't know if it really makes a difference, but that's what i did...

Congrats TripleJ!

I was dialing option 7 for lack of knowledge of which one to pick. After I saw both of your posts I picked option 3. After another long hold I got a much nicer person named Jim who didn't even ask me when the case was approved because he checked it on their case status site to see it was approved, but it still hasn't been received. He told me to call in another week.

I am starting to lose hope.... I am starting to think I may be joining Teacat and Farzam in having to get my congressman involved. As I search through the forum I am the only September 15th approval I can find that still hasn't made it to the NVC.

Jon keeps trying to keep me from worrying, but it is so hard not to. There is a category 4 hurricane hitting my state right now and all I can think about is this....

I am praying with all my heart for some news tomorrow night when I call.

Wow! I am really sorry, Kat! I mean it's not unusual for it to take a month to receive your case number, but it's also frustrating when you're just trying to go to the next level. It will come. We're all here for you.
