Hello, is there anybody from turkey in july filers? I have a few questions.

Did you guys booked your interview date? I booked at 7th september and the closest one was 5th december. Is there a way to make it closer. :(

We should've researched more on VJ before filing. Anyway, thank you for your info. I hope NOA2 will come soon. :)

I am positive you will get approved. As for that lawyer, he needs to do his due diligence and read up more on the requirements of an I-129f?. He needs to be fired but kinda late now I guess. Most family-based case filings with USCIS are self explanatory. Never used a lawyer even when I filed for my parents or other family members. Going forward, if you need to file for a family member, read up on it and see if it's something you can do without a lawyer. Some of them are bad news and have caused delays for some people on VJ. Hope you get approved soon.

Hey there! You want an earlier date huh? I haven't even been able to book an appointment yet and it has been 2 weeks since I got the case number.

It keeps saying no appointments available.

My guess is that they will open up new dates at the beginning of October, and they will be for January :crying:

So for now all you can do is check every day and hope for a cancelled date.

My general understanding from reading the forums here and a friend's personal experience, lawyers seem to consider RFEs a natural part of the process. They seem to think that if USCIS needs something more, they will ask for it and it is no big deal. Some complicated cases need lawyers but in general, this forum provides all the help one could need.

NVC says READY!! No "In Transit" which I was expecting after two weeks at the NVC. We jumped all the way to ready!!

He has all the documents he needs, but still has to schedule the medical and the interview. Does anyone know how to schedule the interview for Morocco? They don't have a good website for the embassy. :(

8/29 - RFE

9/13 - Notice received RFE reply

9/19 - NOA 2

10/12 - Called NVC & Received Case Number, Case Ready at Embassy

10/17 - Received NVC Case Number Letter in mail

12/2 - Interview (Denial, 221g issued asking more relationship proof)

12/8 - Additional Proof Submitted

12/9 - 221g issued again asking for more relationship proof (same items they asked for previously)

12/16 - passport returned to fiance in mail with 2nd 221g letter

12/23 - Additional Proof Submitted

12/27, 12/28, 12/29 Date updated on case

1/5 Passport Status changed to "passport being processed for delivery" CEAC status still says "administrative processing"

1/9 Passport delivered to hometown with VISA ISSUED!! CEAC status still says "administrative processing"

So do I, File on August 8th have not hear back yet :clock::clock:

You received your NOA1 on August 8. We received ours on July 6th and 71 days later, September 15th, we received our NOA2. At this point for you it hasn't been 60 days yet. Most likely you'll get your approval this coming week or the next. Good luck!

Yeah i am checking. It is just so frustrating. i booked 3 weeks ago. before the holiday there was 4 days open for interview. 5-6-7-8 december.

interview date is 3 months after i got my number. I hope they will set dates for november at least. Maybe hire some people and put interview dates. That would be great.
