It seems like, more August approve last night than any other filer...They really speed it up.....

Just got a text saying my case was updated! My heart stopped for a minute and I logged in to find an RFE has been mailed :( I'm glad they've done SOMETHING with my file at least but I wish they would just say what they need so I could mail it already :(((( message came in at 1pm eastern time btw, and I had checked my status a couple hours ago and it was untouched so I guess the 5pm time for RFE's isn't quite accurate....

I know it must be irritating, but as you said it's good they've done something. Here's to a quick and easy response and a quick approval!

My heart stopped for a minute and I logged in to find an RFE has been mailed :( I'm glad they've done SOMETHING with my file at least but I wish they would just say what they need so I could mail it already :(((( message came in at 1pm eastern time btw, and I had checked my status a couple hours ago and it was untouched so I guess the 5pm time for RFE's isn't quite accurate....

I know exactly how you feel. At least they started processing your case. I hope its an easy request and you can get it back to them right away. I hope your approval is just a couple more weeks away! At least they MOSTLY think your file is just fine and need this one last thing to give you the approval.. that is good.

12/16 - passport returned to fiance in mail with 2nd 221g letter

12/23 - Additional Proof Submitted

12/27, 12/28, 12/29 Date updated on case

1/5 Passport Status changed to "passport being processed for delivery" CEAC status still says "administrative processing"

1/9 Passport delivered to hometown with VISA ISSUED!! CEAC status still says "administrative processing"

Called NVC today at 10:30AM PST checking if they had received it and sadly they didn't have it yet. Will try again next week. I've already completed the DS160 with my fiancee though and had her digitally sign it. Was able to complete it using our USCIS receipt number but I hope it's not 'too early' to have submitted it. I heard there is no effective expiration date on those unless something changes until your interview but if thats the case we will just recreate it.

Called the nvc tonight and got our case number. :) I was too happy to hear the case number to ask specific dates of when it got there, but it's not yet shipped out but in the processes of getting sent out. Yay happy things are moving forward, hoping to have my love with me before November if things keep going this way!

No NOA2s today? only one of us got an RFE? that's it??????? I am really getting frustrated. I sent my RFE reply in two weeks ago!! I know they say they received it Monday but I didn't think it took this long for them to reply.. I sent it back as soon as they issued it to me on Aug 29th.. The longer this is taking the more crazy I am getting.... and what's with the no activity today at all!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhh

Fridays do seem to be a bit slower than the rest of the week. My app (which didn't notify me at all) shows that only a few cases were approved today but lots of RFE's seem to have gone out. Oh well. More waiting time. CRamal how long did it take to get the hard copy for your RFE?

Congrats on the other approvals. I am sorry to hear about more RFE's being sent :(

Tasha I keep praying that you hear soon! You are our month's cheerleader and I think you need it soon!

I don't plan to call the NVC until the first week of October, just to give it plenty of time to get there. Plus Jon and I need to delay things a bit but I hope the rest of you guys can get them over by Christmas! That is my hope anyway!
