I feel like I'm not living my life is on hold

Arrgg exactly, I am also sick and feeling like time is not passing at all.

Congrats to all the approvals! They started coming a lot earlier than expected in my opinion (a good thing, indeed!) so that is also messing with my personal calm waiting period set until second week of September, and now I feel like I should keep checking the app, website etc. Thanks to whomever figured out that the approvals go out at 10:30pm EST, sorry can't remember which member it was, so I can at least have piece of mind during the day.

Good luck to all!!

I feel exactly the same way, E&J. I am happy for everyone who has their NOA2 so far, but it's starting to feel as if we're being left behind. I have to remind myself that I wasn't anticipating an approval until the first week of September anyway, so to get it last week when approvals were really picking up for July, or this week as the trend continues, would be amazing. But the first week of September would be right on time with my estimations. Also, when I sort Immigration Timelines by NOA1 dates and look at the first full page for the beginning of July, out of 40 rows, only 12 have their approvals (as of last night), so that's also comforting to know that we're with the majority of those still waiting. We just have to hang in there. Our approvals are coming, but like you and many others, we're just so eager to have ours so we can begin our life together.

Are you an American? If you are, shame on you, learn a little about the American politics.

If you are not an American, you will be marrying an American citizen, still learn, please. Yet I can explain to the newcomer. Thanks for teasing me

Many of us are waiting patiently and hoping for our turn. Even if we speculate this is out of our hands.

However, what isn't out of our hands is the ability to be kind to one another on here.

Everyone has their own opinions but they are opinions - unless factual or derived from USCIS. People will never agree on everything but this forum is about keeping each others spirits high whilst going through this arduous process.

Can we keep this positive and be there for support.

I am relaxed, thank you. Every time during election run in America democrats and republicans play with immigration feelings and the immigration community, specially Hispanic ones as they are becoming the biggest election force, specially in Texas and many other states as California, Florida and others. It's always before leaving the present president and his party are giving the amnesty or accelerating the immigration process. It's a political game, all applicants will remember who gave them the faster process and who, what party made it faster or easier the immigrants family getting together here in America. We, who is bringing family, we are already voting yet even our fiance(e)s now will be in 3-4 years the next election force. Many of immigrants vote for the party which gave them the accelerated process, amnesty, dream act, etc. It works this way and it's not the 1st time.

About the end of the fiscal year, I already explained, it's about the budget, if all or the most of backlog and processing work is not done until the end of the fiscal year, the Immigration services won't get the same budget but less, it's all in the numbers, so end of the fiscal year Immigration even hire temporary workers for to accelerate the process and to spend fast what's left from the whole year budget

I hope it doesn't sound as a negative thoughts to everybody here, I am trying to say it's positive, we are at a good time and chances are we get it faster than all previous months of the year

if somebody disagree, you can tell why and anyway we all here for to be in the immigration process and to bring our fiance(e) to America, and we and our fiance(e) will vote and elect the President, so maybe now it's hard to wait but the good thing we have the right to bring our fiance(e) to America and to give him/her the American citizenship. it's a very nice bonus to our love, as I mentioned before

Hi, Tasha! I, too, was curious how the election and end of fiscal year would/could affect this process, but I couldn't track down where you had previously explained it before. Thank you for explaining it again, and it does make sense.

We just got our NOA2!!! So happy!!

We had to make sure we'd get it after August 23rd because my two-year home country residence rule will end December 23rd. So it was the perfect timing!! We couldn't be happier!

NOA1: 19/07

NOA2: 30/08

Congrats Pandova!
