Ahh well good luck everyone this week!

I have a feeling we will get A LOT of approvals this week (maybe us too!)! And then after all my final jobs in Australia (ironically my fiance and I are both wedding photographers), I will be able to move and get married! Fingers crossed![/quote

]it definitely looks like July filers has kicked off and I am looking forward to seeing everyone put their NOA2 approvals up !

Yeeeee

I saw they start working on August...Saw couple August case RFE... Hopes not mine..

i think RFE's come down to the individual processing your petition, it does make me wonder if the USCIS has a way to see if you can back your claims up on the information provided on the petition.

That is an interesting thought as I have heard some of the extremes people on here went to to provide a ton of backing information; where as my partner and I honestly had a hard time coming up with the information(only had txts dating back 13 months, and original emails from 2014 when we met, and photos together, airline itinerary, passport stamps) but it was small compared to some others who received an RFE; but we earlier stated we just received our NOA2 so. HAs to be something about the individual looking at the paperwork.

Yeah.. and like i said.. our application was approved once before.. but my fiance had to return because his brother had a very serious automobile accident and we had to postpone things.. I re-submitted the same type of evidence - exactly as I'd done last time.. a ton of backing, letters from friends, tons of photos, plane tickets, texts, pictures of gifts we have given each other.. ... and still I just got an RFE... ugh... we're going on 3 1/2 years together and still they need proof... it just makes me angry.

I definately hear the frustration.

Upon resubmitting the application, you also gave further evidence? Txts, emails, all that stuff between the first application and the second?

It seems who ever is looking at your paperwork is skeptical do to you doing it a second time and that I don't know what can be done minus continue to provide everything you possibly can(which I am sure you are doing).

The good thing about an RFE is that it means it have crossed the desk of a officer, from looking at the RFE's on Igor's list it shows that the wait on approval is not that long as long as the petitioner gets it in in a timely manner. I guess just showing what they want is the key to approval of petition. from the RFE's i have seen it looked like the approval process was on average an extra 2 -3 weeks which as we all know that time flies.

Maybe they just want a multiple filer weaver? There is the rules if you apply for more than 1 person in 2 years, it's considered a multiple filer

I started questioning our petition as we did not go to extremes such as a lot of others on here, we have been together since 2011 and living in Australia together since the beginning of 2012. Our filing address for all correspondence is in Australia at the same address and we also have a child together which clearly shows we have met within the last 2 years.

Our petition would not have been anymore than 15 -20 pages long with the form and information together, we did send receipts of passport photo's indicating we were in the US at the time and also at the same location together. And, ours was small compared to many. Not to freak anyone out, but i read somewhere that someone had sent 300 pages of information going to great lengths to prove of a valid relationship, imagine having that thrown on your desk ? One would think that an officer would have to look through 300 pages to check for any anomalies. I think we also sent an i94 or the visa waiver number of arrivals and departures into the USA. surely they could check this information electronically too? When one arives at LA international a finger print scan is done, i am guessing that is on file as well- again to what extent the information is researched is a question that only the USCIS and NVC would know.

Exactly, as to the extent I can't say either. Honestly I mean in sense of any background checks also, i was in the army so I have been told that speeds up my criminal background checks(somehow), and my partner had 2 different J1 visas for the US before also, so perhaps that helps with his abit also cause they saw he had already done US immigrations/customs before? I never wanted to really look into that because didnt want to find any bad information or information that went against my hopeful thoughts haha

i have a question, some people in the June filers are talking about calling the NVC for a case number. why would they do this ? To what advantage is it to have a case number after the approval of the petition ?

With the number you can call the embassy where the visa will be issue to find out if they already recieved your case and what to do next..I called they told me they already recieved mine I should get an email within 3 weeks...and my fiance will be contacted as well so we just waiting for their email. And already have almost everything ready...

There really nothing you could do..

Good luck to all of you
