I also set mine for email and mobile alerts!

Yes, I set those for us as well! Anything so we might hear the news faster. LOL And I am now following your timeline too. I had taken some comfort in knowing the UK couple listed one notch above us in the Immigration timeline with the same NOA1 hadn't yet received their NOA2... and then today they updated their timeline. They actually received theirs 8/19/16. I'm happy for them but at the same time it felt like "noooooo, don't leave us!" Haha!

Ha Ha ! sure thing!

well we unlike other had hoped it would slow down because we are living together here in Australia which is an awesome country anyway, but we had some business we wanted to tidy up and required a little bit of time .. HA HA ! maybe that's the key !

Mostly they were trying to make sure our relationship was real. They asked if he knew where he would be living in the U.S., How we met. What my job was. If I'd met his family. When we planned to marry - the date..was there a big wedding planned.. and if our families were attending. (they were not, we have planned a small formal elopement type thing just between the two of us.. our families knew about this - we prepared for all these questions and he was very honest with the answers). Asked if he'd met my family (he had not since he could not come to the U.S. on a tourist visa so he told them how he met them over skype) We are not the same religion and that is obvious so they asked how his family felt about this. Again, he was honest. Said they had concerns.. but wanted him to be happy. (They asked if he proposed to me and when (yes). If we'd an official engagement ceremony (no we had not). Again about religion asked what type of denomination our marriage would be - he explained non-denominational)

Basically they just want the real answers. They want to see that things had been thought out and that the marriage is real. I suppose it helped that the interviewer we got was so nice - I hope he gets a nice one again. He could see we were a real couple. it took only about 15 minutes and at the end he said "ok you got the visa" and then it was ready a few days later for pickup. - At least in India that is how it worked.

I can't make it this time.. but I think it's nice you will be there.. it shows you are a couple.

Thank you for your detailed answer. I guess talking abut these subjects will help prepare us (I've been doing wedding planning with my mom, but he hasn't really been a part of it). Thank you!

Ahh well good luck everyone this week!

I have a feeling we will get A LOT of approvals this week (maybe us too!)! And then after all my final jobs in Australia (ironically my fiance and I are both wedding photographers), I will be able to move and get married! Fingers crossed!

Yeah, Australia seems to be getting on its way quickly. I need to get my affidavit of support and everything put together this week as I'm heading to Australia later next week. Fingers crossed it goes without a hitch! ?

July filer here too! Congrats to everyone who has gotten approved! Nao1 date is July 19th for us, I'm seeing others with that date just got approved so I'm hoping and praying and crossing my fingers I hear something soon! I keep checking the uscis website everyday and it hasn't changed status so that's discouraging. But now my last semester of nursing school has started so at least I have some stuff to help keep my mind occupied!

Congrats everyone! So glad I found this community, now I know i'm not the only crazy one googling K-1 petition statistics online :) haha

I received my NOA1 on July 1 and still haven't received my NOA2 yet-- they say they process in order of received date, but clearly not the case as it seems many people who got their NOA1 mid July have already received approval! Getting nervous now (naturally :))

Should I be worried? I'm just hoping i'm not going to receive an RFE!

xx

Don't worry, July processing just started, you are not the only one with the beginning of the months and waiting and it's not by date, they try but it depends which employee works faster and which case maybe has less pages to look at

Try to be calm

Igor's list at my end doesn't load, I only can see up to half of June, desperate clicking trying to see if more July approved, it's not loading

Ah! well hang in there! Hopefully what they ask for is something you can get turned around to them quickly and get your approval a week later. We're rooting for you here!
