Thank you! I will make sure I have someone checking my mailing address in the States! One more question, we will have our interview in Nicaragua. Does anyone know where I can find out the timeline on how long you have to wait to schedule an interview? My fiance had an interview with them this spring before trying to get a visitor visa (he was denied), but I helped him set up the interview/scheduling etc, and we only had to schedule it two weeks in advance. Does that seem normal for a K1 VISA interview?

We had the same problem. My fiancé couldn't get a tourist visa. And the interviews were scheduled only two weeks out. We've applied for the Fiance visa before (long story) and were approved. In our experience, the interview schedule was the same as for the tourist visa. About two weeks.

Also you said 'we will have our interview'. I don't know if you plan on going, I did, just FYI. They won't let you answer any questions. The interview is for the Fiance only. They allowed me to be there. But not to talk.

7/1 - mailed I-129

7/7 - NOA 1

8/29 - RFE

9/13 - Notice received RFE reply

9/19 - NOA 2

10/17 - Received NVC Case Number Letter in mail

12/2 - Interview (Denial, 221g issued asking more relationship proof)

12/9 - 221g issued again asking for more relationship proof (same items they asked for previously)

12/16 - passport returned to fiance in mail with 2nd 221g letter

12/23 - Additional Proof Submitted

12/27, 12/28, 12/29 Date updated on case

2 couples approved today in Igor's list! Still July is going slow as only 1 desk is working for us.

Now clicking, clicking more than before! I am so desperate and wishing the NOA2 approved right now!

Tasha

only 1 desk? How do you know this? May I also look into your crystal ball? Hehe!

I think end of summer some people are probably still taking their last vacations or long weekends away. So maybe it's not super fast just yet.

Lol! when they get to 50% of the previous month, they throw all next month to 1 desk, Monday it will be 2 desks because they are advancing with June and they also advancing on backlog. And anyway it's random but good thing is OUR MONTH going!!!

My house is still a disaster, ordering I first took out all the stuff from shelves and closets, moved all the furniture, now my house is still a mess, I won't get any approval unless I get my house ready, well organized and ready for my honey. Thinking here, should I hire a help? I am dying waiting as we all do, clicking instead of working lol!

You will laugh if my house such a mess and I get the approval as punishment to travel immediately to my fiance and bring him to my disorder, lol!

Praying for all of us, all including myself of course

Tasha

That's good to know. Thank you. Yes, I do plan on going. Can you tell me what kind of questions are they asking? What are they trying to prove? His character or our intention to marry or what?
