yes, me too. I am still blaming myself until now and I am so grateful to my fiance, he is much younger than me but so much mature in his behavior and he did everything right for us to be together making me understand so many things and learn about what is it important, I learned to respect him much more than before. Good thing is now I am in a very good health and we are much closer to each other than we were before, and I feel much more secure about real us, what is really important, before I had so many doubts about our age difference and all differences, now it's so many similarities and planning our future together. It was sad and bad but it became much better and it created a very strong bond between us. Hoping for a very fast approval and wishing to everybody the fast one too

Tasha

I'm so happy you got another chance at happiness. :)

Quick question pls, Can I (the beneficiary) create an account on the uscis website? looks like no, because i saw they only give two options: the applicant/petionner or the representative. my bf is kinda lazy on those things :sleepy: . Thanks

I was wondering about that too, my fiance is a bit busy right now so he hasn't created the account. I, on the other hand, have all this time on my hands to obsessively check the website so I want an account! I guess we are out of luck unless they can give us access.

That's what I recieved when I checked my case number so if I'm not mistakenly wrong my case was approved yesterday just waiting for the hard copy in the mail which is the noa2.....

EricTasha, I am glad your story will have a happy ending, and hope the second time around is a lot easier for you guys. (F)

According to my meticulous stalking of Igor's list, June approvals started (6/8 even!) so we have a month ahead of us on average.

I read about a plugin for Firefox called check4change on this forum somewhere, which seems more useful for grabbing interview dates but can help with approvals too. It basically checks any website you tell it to periodically for changes.

I want to get ahead of collecting documents, and I already got blood drawn for antigen tests and got a tetanus shot (ouch! my arm is sore after two days) but I am also worried that I should not have, say, a police document that is dated too far from the interview. Right?

I give my fiance my account he got no problem logging in he was the one that told me our case was approved by checking up every day.

good to know, thanks!

EricTasha, I am glad your story will have a happy ending, and hope the second time around is a lot easier for you guys. (F)

Thank you, Cyanmavi, thank you all for your kind words. Now no way we will get apart, never, all time together and counting days, hours, minutes, my fiance is more supportive than ever, me too.

About NOA2 and the Interview, at the beginning looks very confusing, we did everything, my fiance did everything for him and his baby too, now we have almost all documents and still valid, I hope no more delays.

So NOA2 says approved, don't wait too long, start calling NVC after 3-4 days, sometimes they are very quick, I was calling every day, once you get the NVC number, you know your foreign fiance needs to be prepared, in 1 week or maybe a little longer your file goes to the embassy, your foreign fiance needs to get the police record from all countries where he/she lived from the age of 16, so if somebody lived in different countries and it takes time and money, start it even before NOA2 because the police certificate is valid for 1 year, 1 year! Doesn't matter if it says valid 3-6 months, American embassy considers it's valid 1 YEAR.

Then your medical scheduled, check the embassy website, usually they give all help there or ask them by email which clinic is assigned for the visa medical examination, call the clinic(s), ask when they can receive you, schedule your medical, count approx. 1 week for medical and go to the bank or online paying for your visa (+ your child visa if you have one traveling with you, each child needs to pay each own visa fee), then online go to fill up your DS-160 and to schedule the interview according, at least 1 week after medical and have your visa paid receipt in front of you scheduling the interview. Medical is valid 6 MONTHS.

And checking all the time the ceac website, of course. Also, I did send lots of financial evidence, bank statements scans and by dhl the affidavit of support with my original signature, my son's hand written letter stating he knows and agrees with our marriage and he is happy for us and many other paper evidence.

I guess that's basically it. Don't wait for any packet or letter from the embassy, go to the website, research, our embassy explains very clear all you need to do and has downloads, this way you don't waste time waiting for the letter by mail or email, sometimes they forget or are too slow. Your NVC number allows you to do it everything

Great info! Thanks Tasha. I have been wondering about this even before your post. If you have all your documents ready and an interview date set by you, can you go for your interview without having received the "packet 3" from the embassy via email or regular mail. Some one mention some where that they received a letter from the embassy stating something like," the embassy is now ready to process your K1 visa application....." and I started wondering if there were any punitive measures for getting ahead and getting an interview date and attending the interview with all the documents before they even get a chance to send you that email or packet. Thanks.

If you have your interview scheduled, print it with the bar code and go, it's official, they know. If you wish, send them an email informing about your interview and go

It is the correct app when my case was approved I first noticed it from the app then check uscis website said the exactly samething....

Yes but how do you know which app is the correct one? I would like to download it but do not know what it is called or what it looks like. I found one called case tracker that seems to be the government one but it does not send me notifications of other I 129f approvals as far as I can tell....
