Yesterday ceac website went to administrative processing, today early on the morning it's showing VISA ISSUED, 2 visas, my fiance K1 and his baby K2, we are waiting for it to be sent to dhl place to pick it up.

I am not in this world now, still can't believe it, surprised and confused, it was a very hard bumpy road going toward each other, I need time to process it or better him here and shaking me at the airport, wake up Tasha, we are here

Tasha

Woot congrats Tasha!!! I hope he gets it in hand in time to be home for the holidays!!!

Congrats Tasha!!! You made it! Just breath and celebrate now, it is all going to be alright! (F)

As for me, I have made it through the trifecta of medical exam hurdles (can only get an interview one month before the interview, 6+ hour journey to the only one doctor in the whole country who could administer the medical) pretty smoothly and am now waiting the last week of the two and a half month interview wait, and driving myself slightly crazy with documents. The sheer amount of the lot, copying them, scanning them, organizing them, storing them, checking to make sure nothing happens to them while I sleep etc. :girlwerewolf2xn:

Update: My fiance dropped off our additional proof today and is headed back to his hometown. We added as much proof (and explanation letters for the items we did not have) as we possible could think of, plus include, once again, our previous proof. We also added his police report, i-135 and birth certificate that they returned to him at his interview. They asked him more questions about our marriage, our rings, etc. Almost like another mini interview. They took his passport. They checked the entire file and said it was complete. The officer seemed satisfied and told him not to worry (this person was nice). They said the processing takes 4-8 weeks typically. If he is approved he will get a text or email letting him know the passport/visa is ready in his hometown. (Although, you know I will be checking the status online hourly.. lol) So were are officially in "administrative processing" now and the next wait begins.

Either that previous person was having a bad day (or is just nasty in general) or they were trying to see if the relationship was legitimate by how much effort would be put into submitting more information/evidence... again. And I guess we could speculate all day, but in the end it's good news! I'm sure you feel relieved. I hope those weeks go by quickly for you. :D

I think the embassy felt offended and wanted to punish the foreign fiance. How's that? He didn't put America first? Now America makes it hard for to get back.

At the same time it's sad, as a human factor, family emergency and all 1st time approved, it should be automatically approved the 2nd time. Oh well, each time is different, each embassy, CO are different. Me and my fiance are lucky, approved and all well, my fiance was worrying about our age difference, not a question about it, I guess because in 1 year I traveled 4 times.

CRamak, all my prayers to your fiance and you, be strong, not easy to wait but 4-8 weeks sounds good comparing to the possibility to start all over again and to pay again and again

They said we MUST submit all documents.. wedding invitations... etc.. pictures with the kids.. as of know their decision is a denial. unless we submit all documents. I don't have all documents... i don't have pictures with the kids.. i don't have wedding invitations because we were just getting married just the two of us.. this is not my first marriage and we are not doing it with other people..... i have other items on the list (wedding ring pictures and receipts) wedding outfit, reservation at the place that we will marry, etc.... but i don't have everything... :(

I am so sorry to hear this outcome. I just got into the country today and internet access was a struggle outside. I had really hoped and thought this was an easy approval for y'all seeing y'all have been through this before. Sometimes, I can't understand these embassy folks and their thought process. Did you include proof that his brothers' status lead to his emergency exit out of the USA after his first fiance visa entry. I pray this is work out for you. Not sure how to proceed on this. I hope people with more experience can advise. Maybe including all the docs requested and writing a letter stating the situation surrounding the first entry and exit and that you didn't have enough time to take pics with the kids. I'm sorry and hope it turns around with a positive outcome.

Fiancee and I arrived Dulles IAD this morning after an almost 14 hour flight. Exhausted and can't even read this forum. The CBP agent was very professional and just checked her seal package, her visa and then stamped her passport asking if we had a wedding date. I guess so he wanted to make sure we were within the 90-day period. He also checked me in at same time. I hope things are going well for y'all. I pray great outcomes for those waiting and those hoping to turn around thinks.
