Hey Cramak, my thoughts and positive vibes for you. I can imagine how painful and hard it is to go through such a situation.

Im sure he will be approved. At least they have you a chance to add what they wanted. Be strong, it's gooing to be okay.

Hi all, yes, CRamak needs this visa so much, they are so together and so long waiting. I pray for her soon success.

I am very sad now, past week my fiance tried to convince me he needs another medical, the new one as his medical is soon to be expired, I know we are still with the valid one and our visa should be issued in 10 days frame, means this week. Today he asked for money from me saying the embassy called him asking if he is willing to do the new medical, he said yes and now I am paying. Doesn't sound good for me as he knows the new medical takes 10 days and then to send it to the embassy and wait another 10 days for processing. I don't know why did he agree for to do it when we are so close to get the visa and travel? I don't know if the embassy really called him or it's just the way to ask me to send him more money? I was hangings Christmas lights outside, got cold and fever, I am so broke with all this visa spending and now, as he puts it, more time waiting, means 1 month more or what? Holidays not working days, medical before Holidays, then sending, then waiting again, means until the end of January? Does it mean not waiting for my fiance coming for now? Does it mean he will ask to support him and his baby for 1 month more? I don't know what to think? Very sad

and now I see in ceac our file was touched, changed to AP which visajourney people said would mean the passport went to visa stamping and it will be visas issued. I don't know what he is thinking or doing over there, so hard to understand at a such a long distance. Probably the visas will be send tomorrow to dhl to collect them yet after I told him how sad I am, he just disappeared and not answering. I don't know what to think and how to react. It supose it should be the happy time

His medical is still valid at least until the middle of December, we were agree to use it, he got his interview, means the medical is OK, the embassy doesn't accept interview without it being valid. I do think the visa is going to be issued now and all about medical is just to ask me for more money. Red flag you say? All Nigerian guys I ever met are asking for money even not being a friend or fiance, they think it's so easy for us. Now I said our visa is moving, he is not answering, avoiding troubles in chat. I am still sad, very sad instead to be happy

I don't understand why the embassy would ask for new medicals. It's maybe a misunderstanding. Ask him again. Don't be sad my Tasha, it has been a lot of stress , soon enough you're going to be happy. Very soon.

yes, it's weird they are asking, he said they called him, as far as I know, they don't call, they ask all in writing, it looks like they are giving us visa today, tomorrow

Ahh you see. Just wait and do not send anything until you have a formal email or something coming from the embassy asking for anything. it could be a scam that called your man pretending he works for the embassy..,you never know. In my opinion, just wait.

Tasha,

I do understand that feeling of not wanting to vent your frustrations and worries when someone else is having a harder time, but we are also here for you, too. And I'm sure CRamak would never say that you shouldn't complain. She understands that we all have our own issues throughout this process and no matter how big or small they may seem to us later, they're still stressful when they're fresh on our minds. CRamak is very strong, we all are with all we've been through, but we all have our moments of needing some peace of mind and the rest of us are here to help when we can.

I'm sending you and CRamak the biggest hugs and positive energy. I hope you both receive some good news and forward momentum soon!

Hi,

Hope someone can help.

I am the petitioner of a K1 visa and I am gonna have my interview in London on the 15th of December.

My case is slightly different as I meet my fiancé here in London and we decide to get married in California and relocate there.

My concern is about the affidativ of support, as he has been living in London for the past 15 years and worked at BBC for the past 5 making good money as a solution architect in IT , he doesn't have any tax report in Us or any other proof of income as he will go there with no job and looking for one but lots of saving which are into a uk bank account.

Anybody else in a similar situation can advise what to bring as affidativ of support?

Many thanks for your help

Wow, you guys, your support means so much to me. Thank you. Tasha you are so kind and sweet!! Your situation is not any less important or upsetting than mine. Any small detail that can throw off the success of the visa can put tremendous stress on us and make us nervous. I agree with some of the others that the U.S. Embassy all over the world requests more evidence through writing and not phone calls - as they did with me. It is clearly documented and they ask you to return that evidence with the form they provided to you. So ask your fiance for that written proof. You know him best and if you feel he is looking for more money for something else then discuss that with him. I know we discussed this so you be strong!! :) Stay positive about the visa it will work out.

Thanks again, everyone. I really appreciate it.
