We got a little white paper after Habibi's interview yesterday and he was told he needed to get a Certificate of Celibacy (which we were told originally was only needed if he's not been married before or I would have gotten it before). Once he gets that - which he'll be doing today - he was told to take the certificate and his passport to drop them both off at the Aramax location.

He was a little confused by this but I think this means once we have this paper in we're good to go... Does that sound right to everyone else?

My God is good My Fiance visa was APPROVED to day. Good is a just God. So grateful. Wish everyone the same path

Congrats E&J!

Yes, Cassandra, that sounds right to me. It may set the process back a week or two, not sure exactly for Morocco. It sounds to me that you're well on your way to an official approval! :D !! Hang in there!

I had emailed them through the little inquiry form they have online and didn't hear back for so many days that I ended up calling them to get the number, and then the email came like a day later. So yes you can get it that way it's just a slower option than calling.

My fiancé's interview was this morning and we are APPROVED!!!!! So relieved, so happy. To those still waiting I wish you all good luck!

I will also share that he got asked some weird questions like she asked him why I wore glasses, and how bad my eyesight is. Found that odd considering they have no answer to compare it to.

Congrats Cushid!!! Welcome to the States!!!

Jon was able to reschedule his interview for January 6th which is when we wanted it! I am excited. Now the battle to get on the list to enter the Embassy with him!!! I am ready!

I am sure most of you will be filing AOS by then and I hope you guys will continue to update. I think Jon and I may be the latest ones going for approval! (at least I hope so since we chose to push it back)

Hi all!

Received my NOA2 about two weeks ago.

Just wondering what the benefit of calling the NVC to get your case number is? What can I do with the case number if the embassy wouldnt have even received it yet? Am i missing something?

Thanks!

Hi all!

With the case number, you can (or should be able to) schedule your medical exam and begin filling out the online DS-160 form. There's sometimes a hold-up between completing the process of the DS-160 form and paying in order to schedule the interview. It seems that you aren't able to pay and schedule the interview until your case has been en-route to the embassy for at least 24 hours, but once that 24 hour mark hits, you should be able to complete it all.

I don't know if it varies by embassy, but you should be able to do the above steps prior to the embassy receiving your packet.

Also, if you are able to do those steps all the way to scheduling the interview, please be aware that the embassy will probably automatically send out a notice saying that they've received your packet and you should now begin scheduling your medical, etc. They did this in the UK for us, but it's just standard procedure. We had already scheduled everything. A week after they sent us that standard notice, they sent out the interview confirmation letter based on what we had already scheduled online.

I hope all of that made sense... I need more coffee haha! Good luck!
