Done with my medical examination today! It was a really quick and straightforward process :) I was done in like about 30 minutes. The doctor didn't ask me any personal questions, just the typical medical history related questions. Thankful for the smooth journey in this K1 process so far. Hoping it stays until POE!

I also seen people take medications and remind to take it for what?

Are they sick on medication??

I sponsor my ex wife before, nothing doctor ask that besides any medical history...If they find out something medical issues then there is a problem...LOL

If nothing, then why people afraid doctor comments on medical report??

If, we don't have any medical issues, what doctor could affect on your case??HAHA :star::star:

I wasn't sure how much influence the doctors had on a visa case outside of medical issues. I have only ever heard of them asking about past criminal offences and actual medical history, but the experience my fiance had made me wonder if the doctors could influence more than just those 2 things. It was almost as if he was being interviewed for the K1. I think, like some others said, that the doctor was just trying to make small talk, but it was his reactions to my fiance's answers that made it seem like much more.

And really... why does the doctor need copies of his police certificates? Is it because the embassy doesn't receive them at any other point, and they'd like to have them prior to the interview date? I've never really seen an explanation for this. In any case, it just seemed that if they were allowed to get involved with criminal background information and paperwork, then perhaps they can get into other parts of our lives/relationship, scrutinize it, and relay that to the Embassy.

We both realize now that we were reading too much into it, but it had us worried for a day because my fiance was nervous, was operating on very little sleep, made a long trip to London by train (not quite the expedition Cassandra's fiance made, though, haha!), and was exhausted after lots of walking and tube rides. In reality we have nothing to worry about, but like I said, that day we were over-analyzing everything.

Some people have a -history- of depression (which has a stigma out of ignorance) sometimes they find something unexpected in blood tests or x-rays.

I am assuming there is a cultural/linguistic misunderstanding on my end but I find the way you are asking your question kind of inappropriate (upsetting) since it makes light of the very difficult experiences some posters have had...
