As you know, Robert was told he'd hear from Knightsbridge within 5 days if there was anything of concern from his blood work and other tests. I was talking to him on my way to work this morning, as always, and said "if you don't hear from them today, I'm sure all is fine." 30 minutes later he got a call from London, at which point he put me on hold for what seemed like a century (5 minutes). I cannot express the utter fear while waiting to hear what the results were as they shouldn't be calling unless something was wrong.

He came back to the skype call laughing. Apparently they sent him away with the wrong information... they had given him a sticker with the wrong vaccination information on it, and they'll be sending him one with the correct information instead. That is all.

He asked the nurse (or doctor, not sure which it was) if the results of his tests were ok, and she said that the blood work wasn't finished yet, but she didn't see anything of concern and most likely we wouldn't be hearing from them again.

We were both so relieved.

Seriously... I may not have hair after this is all over.

Interview, here we come! :D !!

I am so happy for you guys, but yes, I understand the worry. Our doctor told us that after my fiance went to the psychiatrist, they would call us and tell us whether they were sending the medical packet to the embassy or if they would give it to us.

So we waited and called, etc. They finally told us they had sent the medical packet to the embassy, making me freak out. I called the embassy to make sure it had arrived, and they told us it had. I asked why they had sent the medical packet to the embassy instead of giving it to us. The guy said. . . .uh, when something is "different" they send it to us. Talk about nervous!

Think about what was in that evaluation and what were your fiance answers, medical history and prepare some valid answers to show your fiance is very well with the mind, takes medication, medication very important and very peaceful, no danger to others, all answers about how much better is now and how well the medication works and calm, very calm. Good luck!

In case you haven't seen it yet, there is a form on their website where you can have your fiance or spouse added to the guest list. You give them your email address, but... word of warning, don't expect to hear a response as to whether or not they've put you on the list. We sent two forms because a week later we hadn't heard anything and realized in the first request we didn't ask for an email confirmation, so the second request was for an email confirmation. Still nothing. So if you DO receive confirmation from them, let me know. XD Good luck!!!!!

Edit: we will not be sending a 3rd request. It'll just be like roulette. If I'm on the list, then I'm on it and get in. There's only so much we can do.

Oh no :) we've already had our interview and were approved. CEAC has us in the Issued phase, so we are just waiting for the passport. I was just letting her know that I understood where she was as far as nervous, because I don't think a single petitioner has a "normal" case.

Yes, and the person who interview my fiance was the same person who denied him for a visitor's VISA :) Of course she didn't remember him, but he thought it was ironic.
