called them twice last week to confirm if they have receive my aos and iv packet and they said yes. how come i still didn't get a email confirmation ??????. should i call them again?

I received an email from NVC 2 days after they received my packages. I heard many people saying here that NVC is very inconsistent about sending emails. Give them a call and request them to send an email again. But as long as they are saying that they have received your package it is fine.

From what I recalled you have asked this question multiply times and I and a few other persons responded.

Again I didn't get an email along with a few other persons on VJ. Not everyone get the email.

You did your job of calling them to confirm they got your package your Job is done.

You not receiving the email doesn't mean they aren't working on your case. As I said in my prior response I didn't get the email and my case was completed on time

No need to be sorry. Whenever you ask a question you usually always get a response from the helpful VJ members.

It's good to go back and check to see the answer to your questions you post.

They already got your mail so you're good. So just sit back and wait for case complete ?

This whole process is already stressful so don't add unnecessary stress on yourself by worrying about that email. What you should be concern about with the NVC is getting your case complete without a checklist. ☺️

yes it's very stressful. all i can do is wait and hoping i won't get any checklist. my first time doing this. when i sent the iv packet i paperclipped the 2x2 photo in front of the birth certificate.. is that fine?

The passport photos were not needed for NVC only for the embassy. It doesn't hurt your case because you sent them. I don't think clipping the photo to the certificate would be a problem.

Any case completes for july 9th scan date?

I'm assuming you mean June 9th. Today was a federal holiday in the US, so the NVC was not working today. The last case completes were given for May 27th and 28th, so June 9th is still probably about a week or week and a half from case complete.

My Convoluted Story (see my profile for more details)
Jun 2009 - Met on Facebook
Mar 2010 - Visited Morocco for the first time, got engaged
Dec 30, 2011 - Wedding in Morocco (5th visit)

Nov 2015 - Vacation together in Spain (7th in-person visit with each other)
I-130/IR-1 (second time around)
4 Feb 2016 - Priority Date
19 Apr 2016 - NOA2

17 May 2016 - NVC Case Number Assigned

Don't start calling NVC until it's been AT LEAST 30 days after they received your AOS/IV packet.

If you would like to check for case complete (instead of calling NVC), you can log in to the CEAC website and see if the AOS fee has changed from PAID to N/A. That usually means your case has been completed. As for a September interview, NVC hasn't started scheduling for September yet, and it also depends on your country. You can search for your country in the case complete to interview spreadsheet to get a rough estimate of how long it will be until your interview.

Tanks.

Will do, that's easier and tank for the follow-up.
