If it allows you to pay, then go ahead and make the payment. Mostly IV fee doesn't get unlocked unless you call and review your DS-261 over phone. Let us know your experience.

I just paid the Affidavit of Support fee, it's in process now. However, when I click to pay for IV, it takes me back to Invoice page of the Affidavit fee (and it shows my payment in process). No other fee available now..

I just paid the Affidavit of Support fee, it's in process now. However, when I click to pay for IV, it takes me back to Invoice page of the Affidavit fee (and it shows my payment in process). No other fee available now..

Once the aos changes from in progress to paid then it will give you the option to pay the IV.

Now you just have to wait for IV fee to be unlocked like xmaricrisx mentioned. Hopefully you will have it by tomorrow if you reviewed DS-261 today :)

You can also call NVC to go over the choice of agent form (DS-261) on the phone which will speed it up. It is not the AOS fee holding it up, but the approval of DS-261. After you call the payment for IV is generally unlocked within 48 hours.

Hello ,

I've few queries regarding the PCC for NVC stage

Im a resident of City X , india but have stayed in A, B and C 9 all cities in India in the last 8 years ( after 18th B'day) and finally back to X.

1) Is the PCC required from all the 4 cities or just the current one ?

2) whats the procedure for obtaining from cities where i've got no residential proof now ?

3) Had anyone else faced a similar issue?

Please help , and sorry for bothering you :)

good luck !!

Cheers !

I have good news for my case. I just called NVC and they told me that they just assigned a case number for my husband's case and I got both the case number and IID number. I am happy...

I also gave them our email address over the phone. The lady told me it takes about 4 weeks for them to send out the email but I am sure I can just apply without the email (i am assuming 4 weeks is their standard time)

Now should I wait 24 hours to check if I can fill it out or can i do it right away?

If you can log into CEAC then I say go ahead and fill out the DS-261 and pay the AOS fee. There's no point in waiting for the email if you already have what you need ;)

Thanks...I don't think I can apply right now because it seems it was the 11 case assigned today. I'll try again later in the day or tomorrow or the end of this week, who knows I may be able to apply soon.

Just went through the process of getting PCC for my wife and brother in law.

You are only required to get PCC from the current resident state. Only PCC you are required to get is from passport regional office in your current state. I am not sure about residential proof, but go ahead and schedule an appointment for PCC and they will direct you regarding the documents.

No need to say sorry!! Good Luck!
