Hello VJ family.

I received the checklist from NVC (Spouse Visa) and I was not sure about one item. Under the section of Photocopies of Supporting Documents, there is an item the is called "Petitioner documents". Please, does anyone knows what is it? Thanks.

Also, can we send the documents electronically or not everyone is qualify to do so? Thanks.

Attached is the screen shot

Thank you for the help.

I guess this isn't applicable to our application from what I was told and I didn't include any and got a case complete. Typically this is in the event of sponsoring a child, this is what the NVC agent told me.

Choice of Agent (DS-261) completed: July 6, 2016

IV application (DS-260) completed: July 12, 2016

CC: July 20, 2016

Medical: September 13, 2016

Interview: September 19, 2016 APPROVED!

So a question...next week will be 2 weeks after NVC received my case, did anyone here took a long time (more than 2 weeks) to have a case number assigned?

Thanks...I guess I'll wait until wednesday this week (which marks 2 weeks) and then will call to get case number and INN. Hopefully they have it then.

Is it bad to call them daily?

Yes you can wait till Wednesday. No it's not bad.. Usually it takes 2 weeks to get case number. After 2 weeks call them everyday till you get your case number.

Thanks...someone was telling me not to do that or else it will make them suspicious as this is a Pakistani case. I wonder why...

You should call NVC on monday to confirm your case complete :) I called that same day and asked the operator to please confirm my case complete and he said "Yes you have case complete" Best feeling ever <3 Btw 3 n/a is always case complete so don't worry but they always advise us to call and confirm. After that you will receive and email with your instructions about the interview :D I hear they will be giving out interviews next week so hopefully we both fit in! God bless you
