So in about 2 weeks I start calling NVC, right?

Be pro active calling NVC. My status never changed to "sent to the department" It's still in approved lol

Timeline:

NVC STAGE:

*NVC received case: 06/20/16

*NVC case number given: 07/05/16

*Invoice given: 07/05/16

*Submitted DS-261: 07/08/16

*Sent AOS and IV packages: 07/12/16

*Receive IV fee: 07/12/16

I know of scan date June 16 and June 17th getting Case Complete yesterday. Just to let ya'll know.

Hi does any one know if the applicant has to send the police clearance report to nvc or is it ok to just take it at the interview?

NVC requires a copy of the police certificate and the bring original to the interview.

Attorney just forwarded the letter from NVC. It says "While we will schedule your case for an interview, either your Affidavit of Support was incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. This could affect the Consular Officer's ability to make a decision on your case."

And then it says

"If we are missing required supporting documents:

- Send the missing documents to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa

interview. Do not send the documents to the NVC."

My attorney also says we don't need to send anything. So, I don't know what this means. I guess that's case complete at NVC? I don't have 3 N/As right now. If they are saying that they are scheduling the case for interview and not to send any documents to the NVC that sounds good I guess.

I got the same thing yesterday! it's a case complete!

my husband called to just double check and they said to just bring the items on the checklist to the interview!

Now i'm just sitting and waiting for my interview date!
