Calling constantly will make you feel worse because they will continue to tell you that it will take up to 6 weeks to review your case; so the more you call, the more you let yourself down. It's not going to make the process go faster. Just be patient, and your CC will come :):thumbs:

it took you 35 days ?

I think the key is to just not compare to other people too. I drove myself nuts and wondering why my I-130 took so long when others before me were getting approved.

I stopped worrying and asking, went on vacation and forgot about it, I got approved during my vacation.

Try not to stress yourself out about it, your day will come.

It's hard for all of us. We all miss our husbands/wives and we just want to start our lives in a new country, but we need to realize, there end will come and we're working towards it!

I still work fulltime during my application while I wait here in Canada, so I use my work to keep me distracted.

Yes, my CC took 35 days. And yes, we all know how hard this is because we all are going through it. The key is to be patient, and like mrskent said, don't compare because some cases require more time than others for various reasons. The most important thing is that you will get your CC eventually :)

So then don't call so often ;) You will get your CC soon, I know you will! Just hold on a little longer. Keep yourself busy to pass the time... clean the house, go out with friends, read a book... anything really, as long as it keeps your mind off of things.

Scan date of 06/16 and no CC yet. It's really depressing. I'm the petitioner. I'm living overseas with my wife. I want to come home to the US so badly. I feel like I can't really get started with my life until I'm back. I'm working at a job but my career is not advancing, stuff like that. Any time I think about "oh, I'd like to be able to do whatever" I realize it makes no sense to start until I'm back. Like, take an art class or something. It's just not possible in this country.

I've been living overseas for four years. The only good thing that's come out of it is that I met my wife. I hope I can be home before Thanksgiving.
