Question along with this tracking number. I sent mine today over night with USPS and asked for signature at delivery. Will this be a problem getting them to sign for the package? It is to be delivered before 12 noon tomorrow. I hope I didn't make a mistake asking for signature. Has anyone else requested them to sign for receipt?

I don't think it should be a problem. I sent mine via FedEx and when I check my status online it shows up who picked up the package. So most likely someone will be there to sign your package.

I just called around doctor offices here in Bosnia no one does this test here. The only thing they do is test of anti-bodies.

Hello there E & E,

I am also dealing with the same issue but what I have done since I don't have any vac records, I went to see the doctor who advised me to do anti-bodies titer test to determine which vaccine you will still need and which one you must not take. Its been a long journey finding out the reliable information.

Try to do this to save time

1. Make a print out of I-693 or any vaccination requirement on your case and take it with you to the doctor. This helps them to understand a much better of what you require them to do.

2. Explain to the doctor what happen to your vaccination record, if you ever had or not and if you don't know just tell him/her that you don't know.

Some public health care might will help you and some might not. Start that as soon as you can since some of the tests takes a while and you need to receive vaccination weeks in between. I hope this piece of information will be able to help.

Good luck

Mine took 3 business days to show "PAID". As soon as IV fees shows "PAID" your DS260 will be unlocked.

Hello,

I am new to this thread but I am hoping someone can help me with this question I have. I called NVC to ask a question regarding AOS, I happened to find out that they received my case on July 13 (yesterday) and they said 2 weeks before it is assigned. Here's my question, should I call the NVC at least once a week or daily? and also should I do the automated response to find out if a case number has been assigned? Saylin's wiki is helpful but it is not specific to what I am asking. I am confused about the automated response.

thanks

rooj

I would suggest you to call them everyday at the end of 2 weeks. It does take up to 2 weeks to get a case number and IIN.

But if you want to call them once a week go ahead. It doesn't hurt. Good luck! :)

I am wondering if that 2 weeks is after NOA2 as Saylin suggested or after NVC receives the case. Plus I am leaving to visit my husband in August, I am wondering that after all of the case is assigned, how long it takes for other steps to happen. How long it took for most of you guys? I want to take care of everything before I leave, especially the part about sending the AOS and IV packages. Anyone would like to shed light on this?

It takes 2 weeks from the date NVC received your documents. Once you receive your case number you will have to be proactive.

First step will be DS-261 and paying AOS fee which might take up to 1- 2 days. Once you pay your AOS fee, you can send your AOS and IV package to NVC.
