Hi guys :D

How many days does it take for NVC to receive your documents? I sent my AOS & IV packages on July 7th. I called yesterday night and the guy told me that if I was sure I sent them because he didn't have them(He seemed tired and a little rude) or they're probably there but maybe haven't been scanned?

Hope anyone can help me. Thanks

Did the package arrive at NVC?

I don't even know. My immigration advisor(not lawyer) sent the documents on the 7th. I asked her right now to give me a tracking number to find out if it has arrived or not.

So how does this work? It arrives at NVC but that doesn't mean they check it right away right?

I mailed my docs May 17th and it showed it was delivered May19th but, they scanned it in on May 21st. I don't think it would take this long for them to receive it and scan it in their system. Ask her what address was it mailed to and ask for the tacking number.

Hey guys,

Paid all my fees (AOS/IV) and completed my DS-260 and submitted my AOS/IV package electronically today, whoo hoo!!!!

Will I get a 'scan' date as well or do I just sit and wait for a 'case complete' e-mail.

This is so exciting! I feel a huge weight off my shoulders from filing all those documents!

Question along with this tracking number. I sent mine today over night with USPS and asked for signature at delivery. Will this be a problem getting them to sign for the package? It is to be delivered before 12 noon tomorrow. I hope I didn't make a mistake asking for signature. Has anyone else requested them to sign for receipt?
