It's 125% not 150%. What guideline did you read that show 150%? If you don't mind me asking. What was your sponsor's income? And did he/she claim any dependent on their taxes?

Helo everybody.

I just have a question to prepare myself.

My case is not complete yet. But i just want to know if whenever the NVC assign our interview schedule already and there will be vacant date which is earlier than the nvc give, can i change it?. My visa type is CR1..

And if ever i can do that, what is the process?how to do it.

My interview will be in Manila USEM Philippines

Ok so she is below the poverty guideline. I am surprise NVC didn't ask you to get an additional sponsor.

She missed it by $375. Her, 2 dependent plus you=4.

Ok, I am sorry for the delay. I hope you get a new sponsor asap. ?

I believe you can get someone to make up the shortage and use both income. I am not 100% sure though.

It's usually not advised to reschedule, but if you were going to try to do it, you would have to wait until your case is already at the embassy. I know someone who rescheduled the interview too early and when that day came, the spouse was turned away at the embassy because the case had not arrived yet. There are success stories, but there are other times where the spouse was told to come back at the date that NVC scheduled for them. So really it's a hit or miss. Therefore it's in your discretion whether or not you will try for it.
