Congratulations!!! ?

Hi everyone, had my interview in Montreal this morning and was approved! I didn't think I would be so restless the night before, I was mostly nervous if I had all the right documents with me. I was only at the consulate for under 1.5h! Sending much positivity to everyone waiting for their interviews to be scheduled and those waiting on their interview dates. The feeling of getting to this point will be worth the wait. I'm not a very active poster but thank you everyone on VJ for their support thus far! What a wealth of information. :)

i am soo sad because my husband Will not attend my interview(21 august) he may travel to US before that ! :cry::cry:

You will be fine at the interview. Have faith and I know its hard, but you are going to be with him in few months.. So don't be sad.

Just be patient. They will need a few days to check on your case. You calling many times won't make them go any faster.

thats true I agree I know it gives people a headache

now that I have an interview when can I expect a interview letter

After calling Nvc and finding out i got CC on the 27th june on the 30th i got my interview letter (packet 4) it took me 3days

question for the people that have had there interview

what were the questions asked and also what documents did they want to see and did you mention that it was for an immigrant visa or

mine is the 22 as well :dancing::dancing::dancing:

Questions vary its all about your case. See the posting from others as they post the questions they were ask. It's all about knowing your spouse.

Read through your countries Interview reviews if there are any. Why mention the Visa type they know more about you and your visa type. They too are preparing for an interview you know.

Ok, to all the people who got their interview date recently, has the NVC status changed to "In Transit" yet?

I got my interview letter on July 14th and my status changed to 'In Transit' on July 25th.

why is the embassy in Turkey so slow in asigning interview dates compared to others? any ideas?

Country in turmoil. Embassy may not be fully open and your Visa type. They might be plum out of work Visas. seeing this with alot of embassies. And I believe Turkey is servicing other countries also.

Something just came to mind about my IRS transcript.

Since my husband has never entered the US, I have been filing as single for the last few years. I checked with two different accountants, and they said this was fine, as my husband does not have a SSN. NVC didn't say anything about it, I got CC on June 27th without a checklist.

Do you think this would be an issue at the interview?

Met in high school 14-Feb-2008 (L)

Married: 20-Oct-2011

Petitioned: 09-Nov-2015

Petition Approved: 24-Mar-2016

Sent IV package: 26-May-2016

Case Complete at NVC: 27-Jun-2016 (30 days)
