Hello Everyone,

I got approved today at the Lagos Embassy. YAYYYYYYYYYY .

I was asked about 4 questions and that was it.

The CO's grin was wider than mine.

O one more thing guys. Congrats to all those who got approved today and those who got their CC and interview dates. Thank you all VJ family for your prayers and support. I am still worried about LoveinGhana! though. Has anyone heard from her? I am really considering of making a trip to Tennessee to look for her. This is not normal. I am praying and hoping that she is ok.

I'm concerned also too many times people disappear when given bad news.

Praying it's not so and she's just busy preparing for hubby to arrive. Come on Ghana I beg of you.

Looks like I was dead on 27th since there's just 4 business days left in month.

Everyone else I have heard nothing about other embassies but do feel free to call and report back. If nothing like others have said Friday call no need to stress or freak if it's not your embassy yet.

Just called NVC, and apparently I just got my interview scheduled this morning for September 12th! I'm so excited!

My husband was approved today at Nairobi embassy. They asked for tax transcripts and proof of relationship docs. Then asked him about 8 questions.

'Have u visited wife's family'

'How many times did u visit USA and for how long'

'How did u and ur wife meet'

'How long have u been together'

'When did ur wife move back to states'

'What does she do'

Then they asked a couple of questions about the co-sponsor.

Took about 4 hours from start to finish.

This is just day one of interview scheduling. Goodness.

Well congratulations to all the interviews scheduled so far and more to come.

And a BIG woooooo whoooo to the Visa approvals. This is so wonderful.

Praying I finally get my interview date tomorrow. Just had an incident when calling NVC. The operator told me that my case was complete but that they had sent an email but he didn't know what it was and that it was probably a checklist. I was heartbroken and even crying. I checked my email and I see NO SIGN of such email that he said they sent to me and I called again and explained my problem to another operator. She was really nice and told me that my case was indeed COMPLETE and to just wait for interview that it was a mistake of the other operator Thank God! Now just hoping tomorrow I get my interview finally <3

Well that was easy peazy. Congratulations.

It was a lot easier than I anticipated. I think I spent 10 minutes with the CO if that (the rest of the time was waiting to be called) he didn't even look at my file when I was with him, he basically asked me 5 questions, typed on the computer, picked up my file (that was sitting to the right of him the whole time) closed it up, put it on another pile and said your visa is approved you will have it within a week!! And thank you!
