I am following the CC to interview spreadsheet and I was surprised to see someone else who had CC date 3 days after me and he already got his interview scheduled while I am still waiting. Is there any explanation? My petiton is employment based while his petiton may be family based. Could stay be a reason?

Hahaha sorry this made me laugh because I was stressing myself out about the same thing today...my case has been updated 3 times since it got to the embassy! I have no idea if that's a bad thing or a good thing but I figure they're just doing their job and preparing the files for the interview cause they do have to review the information to know what they're dealing with. Honey, whatever that reason may be it's completely out of our hands...there's absolutely nothing we can do but go to that interview and shine! No need to stress ourselves out and then look like some old ladies when our hubby's see us. I was actually reading my bible like I usually do every night and I came across a verse that said 'be still and know that I am god...' I honestly felt like that was a personal message for me to let me know that he's in control and to stop worrying. Now if only I can get this caffeine out of my system so I could sleep!

Just wondering what documents nvc might ask for my ir2 stepdaughter. I was told to wait for the embassy in manila to tell me what to submit to them.

You'll need her birth certificate (long version if that exists in your country), her passport and 2x2 passport photos.

They'll also want to see proof of relationship between you and biological parent (that you already have) and proof of relationship between biological parent and child (letters/emails exchanged, pictures of them together and any proof of financial assistance).

Call ypu medical place and ask. Every countries medical may ask different things.

Like Lagos

1. 6 passport pics

2. Interview letter

3. Photocopy of bio page of passport

4. Passport

5. Money and or debit card
