Hi guys!!! My husbands interview was today and thank God he was approved. ??? I'm so happy. After so many years of a long distance relationship it's finally coming to an end. To those awaiting the big moment, patience is key. Everything comes at its moment. I want to thank all those who have answered my questions from the start of it all. Thank you! I feel very blessed and I hope that all goes well for everyone else. You are all in my prayers! ☺️?

Yayyyy!! I was kinda wondering where you went =) I actually just got to Canada today to bring my wife back home - we drove up here last year and they denied her at the border, so we need to take our car back home too! I still don't quite believe it.

If anyone has ever gone through this situation please let me know how you dealt with it...I was going through my DS260 and I noticed my agent made an error :( Back in 2012 I had applied for a visitor's visa but I was denied however it seems as though my agent didn't get that info from his secretary and so he didn't indicate that on the form. Is that going to hurt our case badly?

Same exact thing happened to my ds260. My hubby was denied a visitor's visa twice in September but I'm sure everything will be just fine :) The NVC operator just told me to mention it during interview. God bless u!

My wife was approved this morning for her CR-1 Visa in Ghana. Thank you everyone here for the support and information. We sent a lot of information when filing, and I also sent additional information at NVC when I submitted the IV and AOS packets. NVC sent the information with our case file to the embassy. My wife went in with even more documentation and photos. She says the woman doing fingerprints commented that she had more than enough evidence. When she was called to the window, she was asked only a couple questions and told that she was approved. We thank God.

SS should be your first stop to legally changing your name. Everything is connected to your ss #. Then DL. Depending on where you got married and your state, your marriage certificate may not be "valid", meaning you will have to get a notarized document to change your DL.

Our case status has been updated today. Although it's still in AP, it leaves us with some hope that a decision will be made soon.

Yeah bro. It wouldn't be long, decision will be made. I am praying that, it will be next week.

Yea I wish they would have written that in the e-mail that they sent to me before the interview with the rest that they needed me to take with me. But oh well, at least I know it´s approved. Just one more week of waiting and then I´ll be over.

Thank you :). When I started crying the interviewer started trying to comfort me :) "It´s still approved"... Instead of flying over this weekend I will go next weekend instead. We´ve been at this for over a year now so what´s another week ;)

Aww that was nice of the CO! I know how feel, I've been at this for over a year as well and as long as you know you'll be with him soon what's another week ol you'll just have more time to be excited for the day you leave ;)

So........I got 2 checklists. After I was told on the phone last week that My wife's case was complete. The person on the phone told me that I was only waiting for the Kids cases (2) to be completed. I asked him if there was any problem with the cases, and he told me "I don't think so, everything looks good". WRONG!!! Both CR-2 cases were missing the I-864. What???

Turns out the AGENT failed to include the I-864's for my son and daughter.

The upside is that I know the cases will be completed as soon as the checklists are reviewed.

Just another 30 long days on top!
