Ok, guys. I'm confused and I don't know where to ask this: we go a CC, officially and all that, but we just got a mail telling us that we were checklisted and the info given was the following:

[x] You must submit the following supporting financial evidence:
[x] Proof of U.S. citizenship, nationality, or Lawful Permanent Resident status (examples: a copy of your birth
certificate, certificate of naturalization, certificate of citizenship, consular report of birth abroad to citizen parents, or a copy
of the biographic data page of your U.S. passport).

Now, there's nothing in the line after the "supporting financial evidence:", does that mean the I-864 for both petitiioner and joint sponsor are good to go and we just need to show up with proof of citicenship at the interview?

Hi,

Thanks a lot! I'm sure we sent a copy of the birth certificate of the petitioner (I copied that myself and put it in the package), but I am not sure about the joint sponsor. Maybe it just got lost or is somewhere in the stacks. As long as a copy is fine, we're all good to go, because I have a copy of the one birth certificate and will get a copy of the other. I was just worried that the I-864 had to be filled out again or any such thing. Would be a bit of a nightmare, because it took a while for both.

That's such a relief! If they really only want the copy for proof of citizenship, that's so easy. I was shocked and scared when I first opened the e-mail as it read checklist and then it was all about financial stuff.
