If anyone has ever gone through this situation please let me know how you dealt with it...I was going through my DS260 and I noticed my agent made an error :( Back in 2012 I had applied for a visitor's visa but I was denied however it seems as though my agent didn't get that info from his secretary and so he didn't indicate that on the form. Is that going to hurt our case badly?

Just be sure you mention it at interview before the CO does. No one ca say will it hurt or not. It should be okay.

I have 3 errors on my DS-260. The CO thanked my husband for bringing it up without her asking.

Remember they already know you applied for a Visa before its up to you to correct that fact so it doesn't look like you were trying to lie or hide the fact.

Thank you! I was actually reading through some old forums and more or less got the same info from their discussions and they all were approved so I'm hopeful! Btw, any word on LoveinGhana?

Thank you soooo much for your response. This really does make me feel better. Yes you're right the CO did not ask my husband for any updated information regarding the relationship nor financial information. Also my husband used a translator because he said he did not want to misunderstand any questions lol so he didn't directly talk to the CO, the CO would ask the translator to ask the two questions which he needed answer for, so at the end of the interview they didn't tell if he's approved or going into AP review. My husband said the translator said we still need to look at your case you'll be contacted through American Express about your passport. And he was not handed any kind of slip. I kept asking my husband to look for a white slip he said they didn't give him any slip just the original documents back.

I will write a detailed review of his experience later for those who are going to have an interview at the Islamabad embassy.

Another good sign is the CO mentioned passport will be delivered via American Express. Thats how they give you the passport back after visa issuance. Hope you get out of AP soon.

Hey thank you so much for boosting my confidence. I felt fine yesterday and now I'm slowly sulking. This is just such a tough process. Making it this far I feel like I instantly turned from being 23 to 99 years old. Oh God please help us through this. ??

Yesterday, the 19th, I had my interview at the embassy in Stockholm, Sweden. I arrived at approximately 7.45. I saw this looooong line that went into a glas "box" but i knew that was for non immigrants. Right infront of the security booth i found the yellow pole and sign for immigrants. I was standing there for about 2 minutes and then rhe security guards called me up (got to go before everyone in the other line) He looked at my passport and under my shoes. They opened the door so i could go through the "airport" security check. They tiom my phone, put it in a box and gave me a recipe so i could collect it on my way out. Followed the yellow line up to the building and went inside. There i met another guard and he asked my errand and i said immigrant visa. He then told me to go to booth 7. There i got to talk to a friendly swedish woman and she took the documents that she asked for. She told me to have a seat and wait for my interview. 5 minutes later a nice American guy called me up and i now had my interview. He asked me to tell our story so i started talking and he just clarified a few things by asking when, where we met, how many times we've met and when the last time was. He said he was aware that we had an expedite request and said that our case is approved BUT they can't send me my visa until they recieve my husbands old certified divorce decree. Of course i started crying and he tried to comfort me by saying that "don't worry it is approved and your husband can send it directly to us and once we have it, you will have your visa"... I realized that instead of flying over this coming weekend it will instead be next week. So i think we can manage that ?. Got approved but also got a 221(g). Overall it was a pleasant interview and it only took about 20 minutes for everything. My appointment was at 8.30 but i was finished and outside by approximately 8.10.

I am sorry that you had to go through that. Wish they could have told you earlier about the old certified divorce decree. But hey you are approved and you will be with your husband in no time. Congratulations! :)

I'm on the phone with NVC to confirm 3 N/A on CEAC means CC for us. I can't believe it! I thought I'd check before I go to bed later, but I just checked on a whim and boom - 3 N/A!

It's officially CC as per the nice lady from NVC on the phone.

Awee you're too sweet. Thank you soo much for uplifting words. Yes Alhamdulilah the interview was very quick. I still don't know what to think but I will wait it out and see what happens. Yeah I'm glad they didn't ask for any additional documents or refuse him. AP review is such a dark hole though. I hope we're not in it for too long InshAllah.

As far as my husband he's content, he thought he was going to get a lot of questions but he only got two questions. As far as the communication with the translator goes he said that the CO and the translator were not communicating at all. He said from his understanding he thinks the CO could understand what they were saying he just was not fluent in speaking. The translator would look at the CO's screen ask the question and then when he would answer the CO would start typing and then he would ask the next question and he would answer and the CO would start typing again. So I'm assuming they understand what the translator is asking and what the applicant is replying. I think your husband should be okay.

Lol yeah my daughter already gets so involved. She's always asking me do you think if I pray my dadda will come sooner. Oh gosh such tough question to answer. But I have faith in Allah that he will get both of us through this InshAllah

Awww you're so sweet as well! I'm glad that it was a quick interview I'm sure your husband was so relieved lol

InshAllah it all goes well for both us! I'm praying so much for a quick smooth process for both of us and everyone on this forum! I have trust in Allah as well and everything happens for a reason. We have to have faith!

Aww your daughter that brought tears to my eyes. It much hurt so much I can only imagine. InshAllah he will be with you all sooner than you imagine ❤️

I know how you feel! My husband always jokes with me that when we are finally together again soon I'll have grey hair and look like an old woman from all the stress and exhaustion ??

Congrats for getting through the interview process! Awww you cried, that made me sad ? I know how stressful it can be especially since they requested additional documents but don't you worry, once they have that you will be able to finally be with your husband and it will be worth it and the greatest feeling ever to finally be in his arms for good! Hang in there, you're almost there!
