Keep me updated on your case. I feel like I'm so invested now because I feel sooooo terrible. There should be a better protocol it's not your fault the embassy is closed. I'm hoping your husband gets his visa for Morocco . Inshallah inshallah. Praying hard for you guys. Hang in there doll.

And thank you soooo much for keeping my family in your prayers. It means a lot that someone who is completely a stranger to me is praying for me. Inshallah we get approved. Will keep you updated. ??

I will for sure keep you updated, thank you! I know it's just so frustrating that it's out of our control. You would think the American embassy would know how difficult it is and schedule it automatically at a different embassy...I'm just praying somehow my husband gets it inshaAllah.

Aww you're so sweet, I feel the same way! Thank you so much for praying for me it means so much ❤️ and reading your story I can't help but feel so much for you and I need to pray for your approval and happiness because I know how it feels. Just like with all the ther stories here. InshAllah we all get reunited with our family and loved ones as soon as possible! ?

Hi so I checked CEAC and it says administrative processing....is that bad???

It depends. Every case goes through Admin processing of some sort. Even if you are approved, it goes through Admin Processing before Visa is Issued.

However if not approved but placed in AP, there is no definite timeline. Sometimes also, an approved petition may be placed in AP after supervisor review. Our case for example has been in AP for a month exactly tomorrow. We have no idea when we will get out of it but hopefully soon. If you were approved, don't worry at all. Hope this helps.

Hi thanks so much for your help! I just checked again and it now says issued. I'm hoping that means it was printed. I just won't believe it until we are at home in the US haha. I just feel that anything could happen..

hello everyone,

hubby had his interview at Dhaka embassy on june 21st. They asked for an additional joint sponsor because our joint sponsor had already sponsored too many people in the past.We bmitted new i-864 yesterday at sylhet branch.

Any idea on how long it might take? Will the ceac status change to "issued" before they call him to collect his passport?

my friend had the same situation this April. The visa was issued about 2 weeks after he submitted an additional i864. Its quicker if you submit it in Dhaka since its closer to the US Embassy, but it'll be done soon,

Hey guys. So i am very very confused right now. My husband had his interview today. Once he got to the embassy he had his fingerprints taken. Then where they collect documents they only took his original birth certificate, our marriage certificate and the translation for it. My husband said he had updated financial documents and the guy told him he doesn't need that give it to the CO if he asks. (Is that fine?) After 2 and half hour of wait he met the CO. He took the oath. He was only asked two question. How do we know each other prior to our marriage and if either was were married before. And then asked to see our wedding pictures and that's it. He told my husband they're keeping his passport and they need to look further into his case it could take about a month. His status on CEAC already shows administrative processing. I'm just wondering what does that mean is he approved not approved? They kept his passport and didn't give him any slip. Any advice :(
