Don't know what you all are looking at for the case tracker. It just says case at NVC, which I already know. People are talking about cases being "touched"???? Even on the APP, it said enter the receipt # which is the YSC # from the beginning of process. Didn't find any real information so I uninstalled the APP.

OAN... Tomorrow will be 30 days since scan date, just praying to hear something soon??

You aren't there yet. This thread is for people already at Case Complete and either have Interview or waiting.

Your case will say "AT NVC" until you are assigned an interview date.

Once you get an interview usually 3 to 4 weeks from interview your case file is then shipped to embassy you will see "In TRANSIT". Once case file arrives at embassy and scanned in, it changes to "READY" and you now can see Case Status Date. Every time that date changes your case has been "touched" by the embassy.

What you are waiting for is the 3rd N/A. You should be on the DS-261 screen. You are waiting fro the AOS fee to change from PAID to N/A.

That means Case Complete. You then call NVC and confirm.

You should be over at the NVC fliers thread.

I have been reading on this forum and it has helped a lot. I recently got my interview letter, and in the list of documents on the last page, it lists code N against fee payment. I think its supposed to be a $ which means payment received. I am not sure why it lists N there instead of $. I am wondering those who recently got their interview letter also have N or actually have a $ in front of fee payment.

I have $ for paid. I have no idea what N means ?

hello everyone,

hubby had his interview at Dhaka embassy on june 21st. They asked for an additional joint sponsor because our joint sponsor had already sponsored too many people in the past.We bmitted new i-864 yesterday at sylhet branch.

Any idea on how long it might take? Will the ceac status change to "issued" before they call him to collect his passport?

No they can't issue something they don't have. When they change that to issued means you have passed all the checks and admin work and the Visa is now ready to be printed into the passport.

How long have no idea. They need to verify ad I am sure they will thoroughly check this joint sponsor to make sure they also are eligible to joint sponsor. So it takes as long as it takes. Hopefully just a few days

Hi Okun. Counting down. LOL :dancing: . Having sleepless nights already because i am starting to get nervous.

Had my medicals last week. To pick up results tomorrow. Did you have to see the doctor again when you went to pick up your results?

1. What documents did they request from you at the interview?

2. What questions were you asked?

3. Where you asked for pictures?

At first I was nervous, but at a point, I came to realize that fear could kill a man before he is dead, so I thought less about it. You don't have to see the doctor again, just go with your passport, and the receipt given to you.

1. I went with everything I could lay my hands on as a proof. The number you will be given at the waiting room is what will be used inside. All immigrants will go in together. Firstly, the following documents will be collected from you by some nigerians: passsport, 2 passport photos, birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate ( I think all original docs).

2. Your number will be called to any of the windows. Just be calm and relaxed and be audible. Questions I was asked: 1. Who is inviting you to the US? 2. What year did you marry? 3. When did you first see each other? 4. What year did she go to america? After which I was handed 2 forms, one was collection of issued visa and the other was paying of gc fee. At the window, the guy didn't ask me for anything other than what I had already submitted. He then handed me my original docs and said after the payment of the gc fee, you can then travel to America. At that point, I realized what a great killer fear is. Realistically, my interview was not upto ONE MINUTE. Go with enough courage and don't look too desperate. Just be calm and relaxed. You are already approved. Goodluck

Guys I have a question. My husbands interview is tomorrow and we're just fixing up documents. I need original marriage certificate and a copy and his birth certificate and a copy. What else do I need a copy of? And also do I submit the copies with the original or just keep them if they ask?
