We were approved :dancing:

I literally felt the weight lift off of my shoulders. The interview was so incredibly easy, the only bad thing was having to wait 2 hours on an empty stomach - totally my fault because I couldn't eat breakfast due to the nerves. They asked super basic questions...when/where did we get married, what our plans are for the nearest future, if either of us has ever been divorced and that was it.

The CO said to pick up passport in 5 days....so now what? I keep worrying that we will get AP or something since I have read about that on here. how would one know if everything is going smoothly? CEAC still appears as "ready" but it has only been 1 day.

I am so happy but still have this unsettling feeling in my stomach. I won't truly believe it until we officially move to the US at the end of the month. Fingers crossed that everyone works out.

And I wish everyone else good luck, listening to the CO say congratulations your visa has been approved made all of this stress worth it. Your time will come soon!

On a small side note there were 2 people who were also there for residency visas but had done everything through an attorney. I am so incredibly thankful that we decided to do everything ourselves. Both of them were given slips because they didn't have all of their required documents and were told that their process would be severely delayed due them not having the correct documents and translations.

Nothing beats endless hours of research on Visa Journey :jest:

Well come back home bro. We are not going to gave up praying. Whatever the reason, the CO will call wifey to come for her visa soon. Please remember LoveinGhana and her husband and my and I as well in years. She goes in for her interview in 13 days. We are very excited. But, very nervous at the sametime. We are in need of God's favor. Stay strong bro.

Thanks Jamis2. No worries at all both you and LoveinGhana will have a smooth approval. We keep praying for God's favor. We shall be smiling :)

Just walk in. I used The children's practice hospital yesterday and it was stress free. Go with 40k (15k cash while the balance will be made using your ATM)

when you get there in the morning they will give you a teller to make a payment of 15k at GTB first of all.

After the blood test and xray. you will see the doctor and he will write the number of vaccines which will be given to you at the hospital. depending on how many vaccines prescribed by the doctor. mine came to about 24k

All the best.

N/B: Go with 6 passports, your interview letter, a copy of your passport data page and also the the original of you passport
