@dwheels, I just checked my ceac status and it says issued. What does that mean?

Hello everyone, my ceac status is showing ISSUED. What does that mean?

It tells you right on the status what it means. Your interview was just 3 days ago. It means what it says The embassy has issued your Visa to the Visa center. Meaning your passport has left the embassy and is being processed to insert Visa.

Did they not tell you to pick up in 14 days? In 14 days (sometimes sooner) call Visa center if you can even get through and pick up.

Please be patient go there in 14 days from interview for you that's the 22nd and pick up.

Thank you! Yes, I've waited a long time and went through a lot of hassle with NVC to get to this point. I wish you a smooth journey and a quick reuniting with your spouse.

Thank you so much LinJoe, unfortunately my husband's interview was supposed to be today but he's still unable to get the visa to enter Morocco so we had to let the American embassy know to hold his case. I know you went through so much through the NVC stage. It's heartbreaking..

I do hope you and your husband are having a wonderful time :)

APPROVED!!!!

Got to the embassy 6:30am, was out 10.00am. Interview was less than 2mins, and only 4 questions asked.

1. Who is inviting you to US?

2. How long did you first see each other?

3. What year did you marry?

4. When did she travel to America?

After answering all the questions, he handed me 2 white sheets, saying I should pick up the visa in a circled location in 2wks time, and the other saying I should pay my green card fee after which I can then travel to the US. It wasn't as tenzed as I thought it would be.

Thanks to all of you for your help and support. This forum is really a good preparer.

Congrats, that's awesome news :)

SUPERRRRR excited. Like you have no idea. I'm the nervous one and it's not even my interview lol. My husband keeps calming my nerves down saying InshAllah it'll be okay. I'm like not until they say approved its not okay. I think I'm still hormonal from being pregnant. We now have two kids a new born and a 4 years old so I am waiting for this end for a long time. F2A category sucks!!! We got stuck in retrogression and then at the NVC stage but all is well now Alhamdulillah just waiting for the big day. When is your interview?

I would be so beyond excited as well!!! Wooooow, I can imagine the struggle!!! I'm so excited for you both, inshAllah he will get approved right away and finally you can all be a family together in the states. It must be so hard with this whole process and the kids. Congrats on the newborn baby :) are you both staying together now and then traveling to the US together?

I get really anxious and nervous as well. My husband does as well but we both take turns consoling each other lol

His interview was supposed to be today in Morocco because the American embassy is shut down in his country. Unfortunately he still hasn't been able to get the Moroccan visa to enter Morocco (we have waiting for a month and a half for it) so we had to email the the american embassy to hold his case ? It's heartbreaking. We've been waiting for so long to be together and finally we got the interview date and he can't even get there. It's unbelievable how aggravating and upsetting it is. All I can do is just pray and inshAllah somehow there will be a way to be together soon.

I am hoping InshAllah he gets approved right away too so we can finally be together. The whole process is just frustrating because for a long time we didn't even know when our priority date would be current and when we would get out of the black hole (Vermont service center) lol. Thank you so much. No we're not staying together unfortunately. My husband has not seen our new born yet. I am a full-time DNP student and a practicing PA so its hard for me to travel. My studies are the reason we don't live together. We've been married for 5 years now MashAllah but we've only spent 4 months at a time together each year whenever I have a break from school. My rotations are crazy so I never know where I am going to be placed. My husband missed both of the pregnancies and our kids birth which was very upsetting had to do it alone twice :( .

OMGGGG that is soooo stressful. I am hoping for the best for you and your husband. I cant imagine being this close and then putting the case on hold. InshAllah you will get through it. I will keep you in my prayers. Hang in there you'll get through this.

Sweet Lord you going to make me cuss. :ranting::protest: . See that there is ridiculous. My husband asked why can't you just be assigned your card# at POE. Get official letter and card can come later but you have your number. (sounds to much like right).

They know we just want to get to work, get bank accounts ummmm get on with life. Some jobs people need the actual hard copy green card. Well glad you finally got yours but 6 weeks later please Lord NO.

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I been here and still no social security
