I think I'm falling asleep. I just reread the email:

We reviewed your I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial documents. We found that you didn't provide all the necessary supporting documents or you had incomplete information or you missed some questions on the Affidavit of Support form(s).

So, I'm going to assume the I-864 was incomplete - since they reviewed it and all.

The affidavit of support, I-864 and the tax returns were the only items missing.

Which I can't understand, since they were both in the same package with everything: police certificate, birth certificate, pictures, etc.

They received my documents on July 18. I got the email at midnight Aug 20. PD is Oct2010.

They might have mixed them with other documents.

So your priority date is not yet current. Mine will be current this September. Until now they have not reviewed yet my documents. We sent documents in one package and NVC received them on July 15, 2016. NVC agent told me that my documents are still under review.

yep, its five pages and it pretty much says the I-864 was incomplete and their 2015 tax returns (which they sent in) was missing,

My mom had made a duplicate of the package, so this time around, she's going to make another copy, and write in our case number on the top of every page (like I'd suggested we do in the first place, lol) and send in what was asked for.

And re the police certificate, I'd go crazy -yuh know how that stressing?

I'm going to need to get another police certificate because I'm not currently living in Jamaica. I did the PC in April, and they got everything by July. I'll be out of Jamaica for more than 6months.

Ques: for the questions on the I864 that don't apply to us, do we leave it blank or put N/A?

I'm going thru my copy of the package, and nothing is incomplete or missing..but thats only my understanding..

Also, does the petitioner need to fill out the I-864? Or just the sponsor? As in, do I need to provide an I-864 for both the petitioner AND sponsor or just one?

If it does not apply its n/a and whomever filing for you should fill out and sign the form. If you needva co sponsor then the co sponsor must do one too

Great. We didn't send a form for the petitioner. He's currently on disability and not working. Hence we just sent in the form from the only sponsor :/
