Hi parth.i was in the same situation a month ago.It was current for 8 june previous VB.two days to my PD.I called nvc many times and heard the same answer as urs.but two weeks ago they informed me of my Interview time as i called.You need to call them after two weeks.I am sure they will let ya know.

Hello everyone just a random que !! Am expecting my pd to be current by march17 and mother who is petition is planning to visit me in same time !! So is there anything in rule book like petition has to stay in usa during interview of beneficiary ??? Am confused i contacted one lawyer and he said my mother has to stay in usa until i get my visa !! While lawyer from india said everything is fine even she visits me during my interview period !! Kindly help and pass on your suggestions what to do :) thanks

Submitted supporting doc......Mar 20, 2016 ( would have done sooner but had to wait on petitioners tax docs)

Case completed.....April 22, 2016 Received case complete letter April 27,2016

Received Interview Letter... Feb 3, 2017

Medical..... Feb 27,2017

Interview...Mar 20, 2017

Visa Issued....Mar 21, 2017

 POE.............June 4, 2017

SSN............June 12,2017

Green Card: August 2017

Petition for hubby: Oct 2017

i-130....... Approved.Aug 9 2019

NVC ......Wecome letter Nov 4 2019

Submitted all docs and paid fees- Nov 29th 2019

No issues

You can have my words. 

My family used to be a frequent traveller(max 6 months) 

Please advice ot to stay more than 6 months and you are OK.

LOL, You are not going to be a stickler. I absolutely know that. All I want to know when Do NVC would contact us for the paper work or so ? Do they start early like a year or two prior to that or do they contact you when your PD become current?
