weird or a mistake?

My employment based petition was filed March 2016 and the priority date portion of my i-140 was blank because this category is current in my country. My application is already in NVC and I was confused when they sent me a notification that states, priority date march 2014. SO I called NVC and ask the customer service about my priority date and she told me that my PD was on march 2014 and it is current for my country. I told her that my petition was filed march 2016, how come my PD is march 2014? She simply said, it is what in our database, if you think this is a mistake then pls scan a copy of your approval letter and send it to asknvc@state.gov..

Is it possible that my PD is march 2014 even if we filed the petition march 2016? This visa category is current. Thanks.

ok. so I just called NVC just now and verify the information. They said that my atty which told me that my priority date is my filing date (march 2016) is also my priority date is not accurate. The NVC people told me that there information is correct that my PD is on March 2014. So I really don't know who to follow. My atty or NVC database
