Timeline

I'm a DV winner..my interview was on June 28 2016,,my wife and I arrive quickly at the American embassy in Freetown. .my documents were presented and the c o asked me if I have ever involved in any military actions or support ed any::and I said no..she asked if I have ever been to Liberia and I said yes..she asked for the names of all my family members. ...then she gave me a white paper with my case number at the top and said they will contact me when they are done..my original documents we're giving back to me as well as my passport. ...I'm worried. ..any hope?

Hi, yes there is hope - if you were not qualified you would have been denied immediately. However it is not easy to say how long AP will take, so it may be a few frustrating months of waiting to hear from them. And there are cases where AP takes too long and the fiscal year ends and the person loses their chance, so unfortunately it's not 100% certain you will get a visa. However, most people that I have seen posting about AP do get a DV visa so hopefully you will too. Good luck!
