Interview question

I'm having a doubt about the documents to be brought to the interview. We've collected everything and I see that affidavit of support form is requested with W-2s. I have submitted the AOS form, 2015 tax transcript, 2013-2014 W-2s and recent pay stubs to the NVC and was approved. Will my wife need to bring copies of my W-2s or pay stubs to the interview regardless?

you, the petitioner, will get a letter or email telling her exactly what to bring to interview

they usually want last year's Tax transcript from IRS (not a copy of yours)

easy to get at any IRS office / get one and mail to her immeditately

they will also ask for any originals that are only copies of documbents (if needed)

my email was cover letter

letter he had to take to embassy to get in

code sheet showing codes for needed / unneeded documents and fees

and the list of documents needed

follow the codes

but i do believe W 2's are not enough / tax return for last year is needed / they should have asked for this at NVC stage and compare to what she has when she goes to interview

I got the letter. I was just a bit confused reading it. The way I read it seem that if I had sent the most recent tax transcript to the NVC, then it wasn't necessary to bring tax info to the embassy. Just wanted to confirm it that was true.

Also, I sent a 2015 tax transcript to the NVC.
