For some reason it does not seem a TOC issue to post misleading information. Never seen a post deleted.

I think it's because this is a DIY site and there is bound to be some misinformation. But that is how were all learn. We aren't experts and if I post something "wrong" I would like to be corrected on it with others quoting my error rather than the post just disappearing without my realizing anything and possibly reposting the same bad info elsewhere.

Why does the OP appear to be on trial here for daring to ask questions? Shouldn't the decision on their case situation be up to the IO and not VJ members?

I dare say I agree with you on this. I received a temporary ban once for pming someone asking where they got their law degree after had seen them post entirely untrue "legal" advice in multiple threads and use there status as an apparent lawyer to back themselves up. My argument would be that providing false information to vulnerable posters under the guise of a professional attorney is much much more dangerous than my "harassing" message.
