Hi.

On this web site https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ 

On the part for message says on may 5/17/17, USCIS has scheduled an interview and will mail notice

but on this web site https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Is saying Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled

I'm IOE number, everybody said that is false alarm.

But others said that happen when we are inline for Interview.

 

Any advice about when I can get a real interview schedule message.

My case have not advanced after biometrics since July 2016, I called an L2 office and he told me my case is stuck in FBI name search. Last week I was invited for a meeting with another IO, she told me it was because I visited Nigeria last year that my case got stuck, I later gave her details of my visit. I am from Indonesia and that was my first visit to Africa and Nigeria. 

Whatelse can I do at the moment, how long will the wait last. she only said I have to keep waiting until the name search is completed.

Good, New.

Today I got 5 email saying

On May,30 2017, We scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice

and both websites are showing the same.

I hope soon I will know when.

So frustrating. I just found out my office is Baltimore and not DC. Make it worse, the Baltimore office is currently processing cases from September 9 instead of July. Called USCIS and opened a case.....letter says to wait 90 days. SMH

Hi everyone! my journey has come to the end. i got sworn yesterday and am going to order a passport tomorrow. My amazing husband and me did it!  we are the team and it has helped a lot.

But i will stay here because of my daughter who is waiting her green card.

i want to thank VJ community, moderators, everyone who helps people not to get lost in a very complicated immigration process !

and i am also wishing good luck to everyone who is in the beginning .

Congratulations.  I have my oath ceremony on the 30th of this month and I cannot wait for it to be over.

I just passed my test this morning in Memphis! I'm so excited and grateful. I still have to take oath but hopefully that won't take too long. Can someone please help me update my timeline? :) 

May I ask what's you filing date and you office?

Hello,

 

I registered just recently, but have been reading forums here for a while.  I sent out my application on July 25, 2016 and my PD is July 26, 2016.  Unfortunately I received an IOE file number and that probably has something to do with the long wait.  After fingerprinted on August 26, 2016 and I absolutely heard nothing until late May.  I had my interview on June 6, 2017 and it went smoothly.  Today my Oath letter was uploaded to MyUSCIS account - it's scheduled for July 19, 2017.   

 

While waiting to hear about the interview I had to travel back to Japan twice, first time to see my ailing father and then the second time for his funeral.  I guess the delay was blessing because my travels did not conflict with my interview and gave me a chance to see my father before he died.  I was worried about my oath date, too as we have planned domestic travels in July and August, but it fell on a date when I'm in town and off from work to boot!  It was a long journey but finally coming to the end.  

 

I really appreciated reading everyone's experience here so that I knew I wasn't the only one who had long delay.  Thank you very much!  While I think I'm probably one of the last ones in this thread to became a citizen but for those who are still waiting, don't get discouraged, should be pretty soon!

On May 31 USCIS schedule my interview for July 10 at 2:00 PM 
I'm working in North of California and I flew to Phoenix Saturday night for my interview 
on Monday, on July 10 at 10:00 AM, Local Office USCIS Phoenix, called me to say that my Interview 
was cancelled, because the Air Conditioner system got broke, I was so sad, I flew back to 
my work site. On July 11 USCIS called me again to tell me that I can have my interview on 
July 20, 10:00 AM, I'm flying again there, I hope this time, I will be able to have my 
interview appointment.
