At the interview or at the naturalization (oath) ceremony? If it's at the oath ceremony, the way the Buffalo office's been moving, I will have returned by the time they schedule it.

When you have your interview ask for a i-551 stamp in your passport if you are concerned about travel. I had an out of date GC and it was not a problem getting a stamp to cover me until my passport arrived after the oath ceremony.

We're on the same boat here. I still know nothing and I've gone through biometrics twice, the last one in December. I'm so exhausted I feel like withdrawing the whole application and just give up.

I didn't have to surrender mine at the interview. Everyone who took the oath ceremony had to surrender theirs on the day they took their oaths.

Maybe make an InfoPass appointment first. Also submit a case status inquiry online. Bombard them with any channel possible.

Today I officially became a US citizen! It was a great experience! Good luck to everyone! Cheers and Congrats to those who became a citizen as well! Thank you for the creators and helpful members of Visajourney! You guys rocks!

Just finished interview. It was not a good experience but I was managed to pass the interview. I received N-652 Naturalization Interview Results, it says "Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval". I have a lot to say about the interview process but let's just suck it up. I couldn't believe I passed. Now I'm waiting for the oath letter. My status does not change yet. It was long day. (sigh)

Good to know we were not the only one that didn't have a good experience at Dallas FO, unfortunately my gf did not pass. And it was also on a Thursday. The IO was a female, last name start with an "L" (I do not want to post the IO full name).

Good news, finally! Yesterday I received a message that my interview has been scheduled in Memphis for May 17 at 7:15 am! I can't believe this is finally over. Just a couple of days ago I was saying how much I felt like withdrawing the application out of frustration.

That is great news!! I just checked my status. It says "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled". I hope my oath is same as yours. Congrats!
