I have a friend who filed N400 Dallas Office April 22 2016. He received his interview date 1/11/2017. So my guess is we will be interviewed in March (sigh....). I hope it's in February too. Good luck!! Do you know if they offer same day oath ceremony?

Hey Guys! Glad to see everyone's progress!

I have a question to those who had their interview recently (Marriage Based). My interview date is Feb 13 and I'm wondering if I have to bring all paperwork with me (e.g lease, utility bill, proof of joint account, leases, tax transcript and marriage cert) if so do I have to request for the most recent tax transcript then? I have the old one I used when I sent my N-400 application. Any input will be appreciated.

I brought copies of the docs that I sent when I applied for citizenship. they didn't ask for it but doesn't hurt if you bring them.

My friend live in the Dallas area too, she filed in early July and biometric late July, her status still stuck saying they sent a biometric letter. But about the same day oath, I've known 3 people who passed their citizenship last year, have told us they do the oath same day, or next day.

Got an email this AM about status change. When I went to https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logon.do site, it now says interview was scheduled. This page used to say something about bio metrics etc for the longest time.

I am IOE and late July PD filer (seattle).

Yes they definitely take way too long! I have hopes of going on vacation mid-May so Im really hoping to have citizenship and oath over and done with before I leave!

Had my interview yesterday, originally filed on July 14th 2016 with IOE receipt # - Interview went well, Officer was not just courteous but a truly admirable veteran of the Air Force and Border Patrol.. it was a true honor and a pleasure interacting with him.

 

He explained that ELIS automatically escalates cases like mine due to an arrest that resulted in dismissed charges and which happened over 5yrs ago but he said that shouldn't be a problem since they already knew about it from I751 and happened over 5yrs ago, no conviction and not even a parking ticket since then so....

Interview started at around 9AM, done around 9:30AM; Passed test but determination couldn't be made at the time due to aforementioned reason.

 

At 12:16PM the same day, I received an email from ELIS about an update to my case. Update reads: USCIS has scheduled your oath ceremony and will mail you an appointment notice.

 

Couldn't be happier! I should find out when the ceremony will take place soon... looking forward to it!

Hello! I have been reading thus thread for the last couple of months. My husband filed for N400 . July 15th is PD date, biometrics was completed 08/05. Interview passed 12/19. But. After interview ELIS keeps saying oath ceremony scheduled but file is not on ELIS, and we have not recieved a letter in mail. Any thoughts?? Thanks

Yes, original or certified copies of court and arrest documents. They actually didn't ask for anything else other than basic credentials (green card, drivers license, passport and selective service registration)
