Alright, I'm an NBC filer, and I have not heard anything since my fingerprints appointment, which was in August. Should I be freaking out? IOE cases seem to be coming through. My field office is in Buffalo. Should I try calling them?

Ah my bad, I meant that I got the text saying that I was in line. Didn't actually get scheduled yet .

But it does literally say: "

On December 18, 2016, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization"

hi there! they are bad to communicate ! so, make an infopass appointment with them and ask as much questions as you can. At least, you will talk to the real person. i was called for my second bio-appointment on the 7th of December. I am IOE "lucky" person and i assume i will have to wait a couple months again.

Got my oath scheduled. Going to try and get an earlier one as I'm going travelling. Whatever holdup with background checks and IOE filers, it's not that big, it seems.

my mother in law applied and mailed her application July 13, 2016 to Arizona, her online status still says they have scheduled her appointment and mailed the letter. That was the status since October I think. She's done with biometrics and still waiting for her interview schedule.

I'm in the same boat. When I called to USCIS, they said I'm eligible for the interview and in line. So that doesn't really mean my interview was scheduled. I really wish they schedule the interview quick.

I'm a Dallas Field Office filer but have not seen the progress. My status message says "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice". I've seen some Dallas filer in this forum but I could not see their case moving. I checked the processing dates for Dallas office today. It shows as below. It looks like they are working April 28 cases now. Or, does it mean they are working April 28 cases as of October 31? Then, they might be working June cases as of December 31. Anyway I guess July filer needs to wait. This just takes forever!!

Can you please share your time line. When did you do your Finger Prints and When did your status change? This is not very accurate timeline. I have seen people getting interview letters who applied in the same month as me i.e. September 2016. Actually one person who applied in September 2016 got his interview done in December and has an oath ceremony in January and his Filed Office is also Dallas.
