How was the interview, Bantam?

It was fairly straightforward. Checked that I knew the details I put in the form. Then the civics test. Once you get 6 correct, they stop and congratulate you.

I was scheduled for second appointment in Richomond and was there twice but the IO said my fingerprints were fine and I did not have to take them again. said I just had to wait

So i was scheduled for the second biometrical appointment on the 6th of December. who knows why? i called them yesterday - got 0 information. then, i assume, i will have to wait a couple of months more to have my interview scheduled .

Don't ignore it. You will need to attend your second bio metrics appointment otherwise your case will be considered abandoned. I got a second bio metrics appointment too. After attending that appointment, I received a third one. So I will go to my third appointment too. I have spoken to Immigration officer, according to him we do have to respond to all of their notices. Even if a notice gets sent by mistake.

I know it and i did not have any idea to ignore it. I am just wondering why they asked for the second bio app? what was wrong? i didn't have any issues with immigration in the past or something what would be "suspicious".

I am wondering what was the time frame between your biometrical appointments? i am travelling from 27 of December to the 21 of January..... that is it what is bothering me a lot....

My first appointment was on August 5th, Second was on November 10th and now third one is going to be on November 29th. Are you able to see pdf copy of your letter in ELIS system? you can actually bring that and do walk in biometrics. You can also bring proof of your travel with you.

yes, i saw the PDF letter. The tickets are the proof of my travel as i understand..... but i am assuming i will need them if they ask me to come for the third time and i will be outside of the states

Hello July team!

So not good news for me. Yesterday I received a second appointment for biometrics, even though I had them done the first time in August. Some of you have experienced that already, I believe. This is so frustrating! I called the USCIS and they weren't very helpful. Does anybody know why is this happening?

hi! really sorry to hear it. I know what you feel. I am in the same boat. Had my bio on August 17, two weeks ago got the notice with the second bio appointment. so, on December, 6 i am going to make a trip to the lovely USCIS local office for the second time.

FO and non of them know why this is happening. They just said that because of the implementation of this new computer system some glitches may be happening. The officer also said that we must respond to all requests even if they are glitches, otherwise the application could be considered as abandoned. Just hang in there and go complete your second biometric appointment.

Third bio appointment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my..... i am not wondering at all. BUT i will be travelling almost a month in the very end of December till 22 of January. What i am supposed to do if they call me back for the third time? is there a way to reschedule the bio appointment?

There is a legal instrument used to reschedule biometric appointments, but USCIS does seem to like it or recommend it since it greatly delays your application. Anyways... on your biometric appointment letter you will find all the information needed to reschedule your appointment. Just follow the instructions on your letter. Good luck
