I too got that my PD is 7/13 IOE # how long have you been a GC holder

I have my GC for almost 20y.

So I just got back from my second biometric appointment. I got there early and spoke to the front desk person who made me wait for half an hour till I could see an immigration officer. Half an hour later I spoke to this lady who was not an immigration officer. Later I learned that the immigration officer on duty Wasn't in today (lucky me)! This lady then asked me to wait because she was going to send some emails on my behalf and make a couple of calls to find out why I had received a second Biometric appointment. One hour and a half later she came back with nothing. She even wanted me to go home without completing the biometric process. I asked her whether I could complete the biometrics since I didn't want to come back there a third time. She said sorry you can't since I don't have the authority. To which I replied, had I not told you that this was my second biometrics you would have never known and I would have completed it without a problem. She though about it a little and allowed me to complete the biometric but advised me that I could be charged again for it (about $200 if I'm not mistaken). She took my telefone number, name and IOE number and told me she'd call me on Wednesday. How frustrating, almost 4 months of waiting time and in back to zero. This time without an answer. Has anyone in here from the east coast been scheduled an interview yet ?

After being a silent spectator, I registered and now adding my info. June end/EarlyJuly filer. IOE number, Pheonix locker box. Cincinnati field office filer. Got an email that interview has been scheduled on October 31. Adding my information below. There is hope finally. Application mailed June 29. Finger prints done on July 25. Status updated as interview scheduled on November 1. It said interview was scheduled on Oct 31 and I should receive a mail. No change in information on ELIS as yet though. Only USCIS status has changed.

Hello everyone. I am so beyond frustrated right now. I received a letter from USCIS for a second biometric appointment. As I mentioned before I have a ready completed my first biometric on July 6, 2016 and I explained that to the tier 2 officer I spoke to today. He wasn't really much helpful since he didn't know why I had received this second letter. He simply suggested that I went to this second biometric appointment on November 8 ( I forget the date).

Now, I had previously spoken to another tier 2 officer yesterday and he assured me that my fingerprints were not rejected by the FBI he also said that this could be a glitch in the system but he wasn't sure.

Is anyone else having this problem of having received a second biometrics appointment? Everyone seems to be moving forward but I seem to be moving backwards LOL .

Well I know this is not much but at least take comfort in the fact that you're not alone on this boat. As a matter of fact I saw yet another gentleman there at the USCIS center in Alexandria, VA who had also gotten another Biometric letter. Also to my surprise I got a call today at exactly 9:00am from an immigration officer from the NBC, telling me that she could already see that I had done my second biometric on her computer and that this time it would be fine. The only explanation she could offer me as to why I got 2 biometric appointments is that they moved their entire computer system to a new system and in the process some information got lost. It seems plausible. It's not acceptable that they would lose your info like that but it is known to happen. I hope this helps

I'm over in the August filers and we just had the same thing happen to us this week. Out of nowhere, our status changed to that one with no notice. Only on the myaccount website. I'm hoping that means they will start clearing the backlog of IOE cases. Good luck!

Do you know what the previous status message was? I suspect they are referring to the biometrics appointment. Follow the "Try it out now" link to the new USCIS account, to view the last update date.

If you have completed you fingerprint, and you are yet to to receive the interview notice, please let us know what your case status says.

Is it, "Interview Scheduled USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice."

Hi everybody!

i went to infopass appointment today to find out what was going on with my case. was told that they are working on it. and everything is slower due to the election. i got NOA-1 on 7/29/2016, biometrical appointment on 8/17/2016.
