Ok our date is on april 13th were both nervous, mostly because we came all this way and we don't want to be denied now! I'm bringing an exact copy of I-129f packet with me noa1-2 letters. NVC letter, proof of our relationship, the I-134 proof of support, my us citizenship papers, my taxes for 2006, statement from boss on my job position, salary ect ect. statement from bank. Sonia is almost finished with packet three. am i missing anything?

What should we expect? are they cold people? nice? I was told to sit in the back row because we might be there a while. any info would be great. what paper work did they ask for stuff like that. Thanks in advance.

Francesco y Sonia.

First, try not to be nervous..... everything will be fine.......

It looks like you have everything in order.....

I know when we arrived at the embassy for our interview there was a long line outside of the embassy before you even go into though security. Don't stand in that line, go to the guard who is upfront and show him your interview letter and your identification and he will direct you to go right into the embassy. Once inside you will go through security. They will take away cell phones and bottles of liquid like perfume, water, drink and keep it until you leave.

Most of the people are nice and from the past interviews I have seen here there have been no problems.

Unfortunately we had a man that questioned us in a room seperately and then together. He was cold and sarcastic and asked personal questions about when the first time we kissed and when the first time we were intimate.......

BUT I have not seen anyone on VJ that has had this man since we had our interview. Most have had friendly people.

So, Best of luck and if you need any other help, please ask us.

Also, let us know how it goes.

Our interview experience was relatively straightforward. If you have all the required documents, organized and complete, and plenty of photos, there should be no problem. Be ready for a long wait. The people we dealt with there were polite and helpful. Please feel free to ask about anything else you may have concerns over!
