Hey, everyone.

I'm confused with fees for filing i-130 and i-485 (visa for spouse in general).

As far as I know, filing fee for i-485 is $985 + $85(Biometric) = $1,070

And I-130 is $420

These make a total of $1490 and I believe that this is most updated fees.

Is there any other fees I am missing? Some are saying $1500. Are they just rounding it up?

My Timeline:

Receipt Dates: August 8th, 2016 for I-130, I-765

August 15th, 2016 for I-485

AOS/EAD Sent : August 3rd, 2016

AOS/EAD Delivered: August 8th, 2016 (Day 0)

1st NOA1 (e-notification): August 16th, 2016 (Text & e-mail) (Day 8)

Check Cashed & Website Updated : August 17th, 2016 (Day 9)

1st NOA1 (Hard Copy): August 20th, 2016 (Day 12)

EAD (I-765) Approved: October 14th, 2016 (Day 68)

Biometric Done: October 18th, 2016 (Day 72)

EAD Card is being Produced: October 18th, 2016 (DAY 72)

Biometric Scheduled: October 25th, 2016 (Day 79)

Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview: October 26th, 2016 (Day 80)

EAD Card was mailed to me: Nov. 1st, 2016 (Day 86)

EAD delivered: Nov. 3rd, 2016 (Day 88)

 

I-751 Timeline:

Package Sent : 03/22/2019

Package Arrived: 03/26/2019

Check Cashed: 03/28/2019

NOA Received: 04/01/2019 (Notice date: 03/27/2019)

Fingerprint: 11/18/2019

Approved: 04/02/2020

They are just rounding it up. It's exactly $1490.

I know AOS from K1 it is only $1070, because the I-130 is free when filed at the same time. Not the same from H1-B?

The i131, for travel authorization, is free, when filed with the i485. The i130, petition for alien relative, don't have the fee waived when filing concurrently with the i485

A K-1 adjustment applicant does not file an I-130. The fees for the I-765 and I-131 are waived when filed with a pending I-485 for adjustment from any visa.
