Hello

Looking for anyone who has gone to Kingston for fiance visa. I am self employed, and have 3 questions:

How many years of taxes do they require?

And do they want bank statements?

And is it 125% or 100%?

Looking for anyone who has been there and what their experience was

Thankyou!

I believe every country is different. I provided to my fiancee at the time of his interview. I also am self employed. I did not want to provide my tax returns ( why.. because for those who own a business, it is very personal!! - most wouldn't understand and NO I AM NOT HIDING ANYTHING!). I provided one set of 1099's from a customer for the last 3 years, 6 months of bank statements and a statement from one of my clients showing the last year of deposits. I proved that I made more than enough to satisfy their requirements. More than enough was 5 times the poverty level. I did not feel it was necessary at that stage nor anyone else know my true net worth. That was for a discussion face to face with my future husband. (IF they would have asked, I was ready to submit.)

I do not want to mislead you, but I think that it really depends on the country, the circumstances.

Here is some other's reading..

Jamaica required 125% no bank statements and 2 years of tax returns. I sent tax transcripts.

That was in 2014 when he first interviewed. He was just there today for a second interview and they said they do not need anything else.
